Let's hope Spurs haven't seen the great job Rohl has done for us and try and come in for him.

One positive: I don't need to watch Frank chewing now.

Big Blue won nothing yet, done a good job beating teams with a 20th of our budget. Let's see at the end of the season, and then we can judge if he has done well.

Doubt it, linked with Alonso etc. If he wins trophies after this season, il be very worried about losing him come the summer.

Spurs should be all over the Palace manager to come in summer. Man United will be monitoring him as well.

Unai Emery would be a terrific shout for Spurs,
but he'd be off his head to leave Villa for Spurs to work with Daniel Levy. ? Villa are every bit as big a club as Spurs anyway, with better owners who don't get rid of their managers at the drop of a hat. ?

Spurs can continue to bring in successful managers from other clubs in the EPL, as they have done in the past, but it will make no difference because of the way the club is run. They claim to be a big club and say they want to win things, but they don't back that up with a joined up recruitment policy. Managers like Frank or Glasner, if they brought him in, would be judged more harshly than at their previous clubs if they had a losing run and got sacked.
They have both achieved comfortable mid table finishes at clubs who are punching above their weight, but that would be unacceptable at Spurs. They sacked Mourinho on the eve of a cup final and even sacked the manager who brought them their only trophy in god knows how many years.

They never give managers time. Frank got 8 months. That, coupled with poor/slow recruitment and injuries to a large number of key players, didn't help the last two managers.
They need to choose the way they want to go, choose the manager who fits that, and then recruit for that process.
Once that is done, give the manager more than a season to implement it and do it. They are sitting in the bottom 5, or worse, each of the last 2 seasons, so surely they need to do something to break that mould.

My post was meant to be tongue in cheek, lads. I wasn't actually suggesting Spurs would be looking at Rohl, as he is only in the door, and let's face it, Spurs are one of the biggest jokes in English football and have ruined many good managers.
Even if they did, I'm confident Rohl would knock them back!
