Negri was almost 30 years ago, Jesus Christ, that's scary to say out loud. In my opinion, Mols was better than Jelavic, but perhaps I'm just showing my age.

Our manager, Danny Rohl, stated that our new German striker, Ryan Naderi, is a mixture between the superb Fredi Bobic and Newcastle United striker Nick Woltemade. ? I remember Bobic well and thought he was a terrific striker. ? So, for anyone who remembers Bobic, how highly did you rate him, and do you think he was better than current Newcastle United striker Nick Woltemade? ?

Marco Negri was the best striker we have had in the last 30 years. Unbelievable talent, was an absolute finisher of the highest quality, and could score all types of goals.

LBH that hard bump was an unmitigated disaster leaving us in alien territory. To have risen from there, fantastic to a challenging position. OK hibbees slight bump but Tic got to go plus at present Mirren all over Tarts like a rash. If Mirren win another two points closer to Valhalla mate. I live in hope

Don't know who reminds me but looks hard, physically. Like that in a striker. If he has a good forwards brain in ongoing play just maybe DR found a gem. He's obv gone German lower league to cherry pick him, so must see something. I'll await in hope.

I would agree re Jelavic but his injury problems cut short his full opportunity. His physical presence alone is outstanding.

Would take Durie over the two of them, any of our strikers from the past who could play as the solo striker would be him. To be fair, when you had Laudrup assisting him, it helped a bit.
