Great interview Kyle Glasgow. Incredible maturity for 15.
He confirms he has signed a new contract and is desperate for his debut.

Think this boy is a player. Bit too young to be thrown in the first team but next season we see how we get started and if doing well we give him game time at 16/17 by the time he's 19/20 he will have a full understanding of the demands of spfl plus being a Rangers fan will obviously aid his mentality and willingness tk battle for the badge.

John, this could be the best signing of the window.
26 Jan 2026 17:26:42
I have a lot of hope for him John hopefully gets a chance to show what he can do over the next couple seasons.
26 Jan 2026 17:42:01
Is it the one at the tournament they were playing in? I seen that last night and he spoke very the boy.

Was Rooney to young at 15 ?
26 Jan 2026 19:11:14
Yes storm. Alkass tournament, interview by two people in studio.
For me this lad needs minutes, he would be free to walk when he's 18 1/2,he needs to see the pathway. Same re Condy, Lawson and scally.

Rooney was built like a man at 15, very robust some 15 year old like gilmour was need a bit more time to develop their body's to suit the physical nature of the game.
26 Jan 2026 19:23:25
He will get minutes this season.
26 Jan 2026 19:26:23
If he was to find a pathway into the first team it would be a encouragement for other young players to sign at 16.
26 Jan 2026 19:28:03
Please can we stop with the too young comments, look at Yamal, Rooney etc all made debuts at young ages and it helped them immensely. As soon as he is 16 he should be on the bench and be shown that the club is invested in his growth so that we can then get him to sign another deal and eventually sell when his value peaks.
No point in doing anything else but this with our best talents since the SFA are content with stunting youth development.

Scottish cup you have to be 16 a think or he might of played last week.
26 Jan 2026 20:31:48
I'm quite intrigued by our handling of Glasgow, think it marks a significant change in direction for our academy - one that I'm not entirely sure I agree with.
26 Jan 2026 20:40:45
That's the one I seen John.
26 Jan 2026 20:57:31
I don't understand how Arsenal can play a 15 year old in the champions league and we can't play Scotland in the Europa.
26 Jan 2026 21:24:23
We will destroy him.
26 Jan 2026 21:39:27
EHL - do you suspect we are paying over the odds for youth players?
Assume this is the only way that keeping a well rated academy player could be seen as a negative.
26 Jan 2026 22:55:27
Can he sign a contract at 15 in Scotland? Do they not have to be 16?
27 Jan 2026 06:58:45
Forever u sign your first professional contract in Scotland at 16. England is 17, however at 16 they sign a scholarship
My star the age thing is a Scottish gov rule, which every employer should abide by.
