What's everyone's thoughts on our 2 good midfielder's we signed from Aberdeen on freedom of contract our former midfielder ryan jack and our current midfielder connor Barron ?Who do we think is the better midfielder between jack V Barron ?.

Jack for me. But Barron had the potential to be a better player than jack yes.
Said few weeks ago that in a year to 18 months time Barron could be better than Lewis Ferguson.

Looking at that team Jimmy Thelin has built before being bagged, we won't be signing anyone else in the near future from Aberdeen? Aberdeen are absolute awful.

Jack but Barron has more potential. Jack could have been a lot better but was plagued by injuries. Some of the EL and old firms Jack used to be our standing for SG.

Loved Ryan Jack and if he hadn't had his injury issues he would still be at us. Connor is shaping up well and will get there.

Jack probably better if not for injuries. Guy was class but think Barron has potential to overtake him if he keeps improving.

Jack for me.
Physically stronger and more composed in the ball. Rarely have the ball away.
Barron has more energy but isn't as efficient (yet). Jack also performed in winning sides, domestically and in Europe.
Barron as some way to go to get to that level imo, one thing he definitely has over Jack is his availability though.

Jack way ahead but Barron is improving at a good rate under Rohl and long may it continue, needs to try and offer a little bit more in that final third when he gets opportunities.

Some weeks ago there was talk on the site of Barron potentially looking to move to Italy, now that he's getting a run of games and performing well do we know if this might still be the case?

Ya telt where I came from is the young cb Milne is high chance of going to us or Celtic.
Also Aberdeen have a few wingers I like. Nordic connection ots possible. Not saying it will happen just saying they athings do come back to us bro ??.

I think jack eas the better player, but Barron will get there, I also noticed last night Barron had a shot that came off an Aberdeen
Player, the shot looked like a really well struck shot&it was hit with venom, fair fog but unlucky for him it hit the player of I think we might have seen Barron's first Rangers goal.
