While Rohl gets and fully deserves every bit of credit he's getting just now I think a special shout out needs to go to Scott Fry who has worked wonders at set pieces. I don't have any stats to hand to back up this statement but I'm sure I read on here a while back that we had gone 150 corners without scoring at one point a couple of years ago? Perhaps mr p can confirm. We are a real threat at these now.
Defensively we appear stronger and more organised as well, full credit to all involved but specifically Scott Fry.

I'll know this much if he wasn't in that would of been a draw last night or a nervous 1 nil fair play to them getting him in. we still need to be scoring from open play more.

seems like according to Raskin the second was all down to Tavernier's influence in spotting front post man not there and telling Nico to attack there and Barron to deliver.

A think we went about 1000 corners before scoring before Rohl came, big Fernandez could end up our top goal scorer, made a few quid from him this season to score anytime at loud prices but the bookies have caught on and prices more than halved and will continue to drop.

Some of these stats are nonsense, without thinking too much I remember Raskin scoring that exact same goal in a cup match this year against Hibs, he also has done it against Dundee, Hibs and Celtic previously which shows that that routine is not down to the new guy.
I am not down playing Frys influence which has been great but he has been helped by now having a huge centre back who attacks headers and can put them on target. If he can actually get Souttar to score then he will be acclaimed as a genius.

Coopers I don't think that is true so I asked AI to search for the answer. we didn't score any direct from corners last season but scored 4 the season before. in those two seasons in all games we had 553. now it doesn't always get them all right but that is a huge difference from the 1000 to get wrong.
as a comparison we have had 128 corners this season so far in the league and from August to December 131 in all competitions. so the 553 seems to be right.
still scored many more than in previous seasons but not as bad as that figure. we did score 13 set pieces in both those seasons overall so just on corners we are almost there with half the season almost to go.
