Newcomer and been lingering for ages but have come to realisation that our support are so unrealistic and think we are playing football manager with their expectations yes we are Rangers but the real facts are we are miles behind in terms of everything. This is going to take time and a lot of it whether Martin gets it right or the time too we'll see but no one is coming in and making this many changes and hitting the ground running yes it's a hurting process but let's be honest it isn't any harder than any other year our team has a mentality problem and that's hard to change when they down tools and want rid of any manager that challenges their mentality. I still believe if we get a few results the confidence will spread throughout and become infectious. If we win tomorrow sorry when we win tomorrow we will beat them next weekend because they are terrible and they're a few results away from imploding so are we right enough haha. Good opening post mate, yes agreed it will take a bit of time Boom, but I'm wanting us competing from now as the other lot aren't up to much but do beat teams we can't in this league.

I side with you on that argument but you can't disagree with the fans that want change after the start we've had. I want to give him time in the hope that it'll change but people aren't seeing improvement which i also expected to see by this stage.
He makes a lot of excuses in his interviews and i hope they are justified excuses but fans are seeing them as just excuses and aren't impressed, unfortunately RM you have to get the domestic side right to keep people engaged. 4/ 5-0 tomorrow let's go ??.

Boom, no idea where you're confidence is coming from especially when you say THEY are terrible.
They are undefeated with 9 from 9 in the league.
They definitely aren't as strong as they were and if we weren't absolutely terrible then I'd be hopeful that we could win the league.

DeBoer you can't knock fans for backing the team, i applaud it at the moment. Like i said i don't blame people for not being on board with how bad the results have been but don't knock people for trying to have positivity.
We've got good players who can produce, we all know we've got good players let's try big them up before tomorrow.

No, I don't agree. We should be an easy second, at the moment we are not, and that's a worry. We are leagues/ miles away from anything else in the SPL with regards to finance and facilities, so constant bad results are not acceptable from a football point of view and financial point of view. I would agree if we were in a competitive league with other teams that had the same resources, but that's not the case. Our form is not acceptable no matter what way you paint it, none. "

They are the weekest they have been fs it's 2025 and cnuts like forest are starting for them the turtle is out for a few weeks/ months hopefully and that big ginger that looks like he's running in high heels is a starter for them every week we should. If we get a run together they will inevitably start to crumble especially with scabby lips have issues with the board it will definitely filter through to the team just like the last tie it did when he left he'll be off in January again.

The big problem is we're to busy waiting for them to slip up. Yes there weak but they have a team who know how to win and actually players who seem to fight and care about the shirt on there back. am sick of this spinless rangers.

We're lucky their board are as greedy as they are or they could have been absolutely out of sight years ago.
It's not just the results, it's the fact we're going backwards.

Boom - THEY have ways of winning games even when poor - we have ways of losing games even when playing decent - correct the mentality thing is definitely prevalent and that's why I have been crying out for leaders and winners to pull on our jerseys for seasons - ability and skill is what we want but also inside we need those who HATE getting beaten - our acceptance of mediocrity on the pitch is hellish no real anger is shown and off the failures normally troop heads hung low but knowing their wages are popping into the bank regularly - we have a bunch of greetin faced wains who when faced with adversity down tools/ stick together like?to a blanket, blame manager and get guys punted because of their own failings! Fact!

I'm with you boom, they are gash that result against the bin men showed it! Also agree our fans expect far to much too soon BUT we shouldn't be drawing with Dundee and Motherwell in succession! I can accept the Euro result Brugge are a good side but can accept Players switching off completely!

Blue Floyd I might not have put it like that but agree it isn't the skill of our team which is the issue it is the mental attitude. managers have tried to get experienced leaders into the team but they have all ended up the same. I think it does need a cull to get rid of most if not all of the old guard now to start afresh. that might take time and that isn't a call for Martin to get it just a realisation that until we do the mentality won't change.

We proved last year we weren't "miles behind"! A good manager wipes the floor with them. Most our problems are created by ourselves! We have a manager who can't coach defending set plays and he has a style of play that isn't working but too stubborn to change! He's made a few of our best players look terrible! He has signed 10 players and the only area we look stronger in is left wing! Antman looked a player at first but probs no better than cerny. Cb is still weak, rb is a joke, the 6 is a joke, left back still a priority and we still need a goalscorer. That is all on him, he's causing this pain! There would be less pain with Barry and co if we kept them for a season! Wouldn't be going in to an old firm with the fear that's for sure!

Aye, you're right, they're not very good, same as they weren't this time last year before they strolled to another 2 trophies.
And the big Ginger in high heels would absolutely walk into our team.
After 2 games we're 8th in a 2 horse race. We've had the worst start to a league season since the 90's. We have good players, but the football is dire and we were embarrassed in Europe being comically bad, after struggling to beat a side 2 leagues below us at Ibrox.
They might not be as strong as they were last year (yet), but we're going backwards on the park faster than they are. We've got people saying they're not very good having taken 9 from 9 (again), while we think we're going to beat them having taken 2 from 6 and having been lucky to get both of them, two bottom 6 teams, both going through their own rebuild, much better then us on the days.
I'm all for being positive when they're a reason to be. But we've seen absolutely no reason to be so far. It's a very fine line between positive and deluded.

Gotta agree with a lot of the above. Raskin should be CDM we didn't need to sign Rothwell at all defence needed a total rehaul should have started there and brought in some good solid experiened lads in the bk 4. Yes we needed wingers tbh no issues with who we signed there would have wanted Dessers to stay but would have went for Shankland ticks all the boxes above for me there's not really one Rangers at heart player in that squad wasn't last season either which is why Barry and Co were brought in last season to try and install that but they're all gone too now we have a stubborn manager who refuses to change his mentality a team who look unhappy, lost with no fight, fans who had very little patience losing the patience they did have and other teams rubbing their hands at prospect of playing us. Sad times indeed this takeover was going to bring the good ol days back but they are further away now than before.

What ever the pros and cons of being positive or negative he has to deliver 3 points against st mirren myself i am shocked at the school boy errors at the back slack passing throughout the team no cutting edge in the final third i really want RM to succeed and Rangers to go on a winning streak but i am not seeing where it is coming from.
