In regards to players coming in, do you think we are holding off for CL money to go for our number one targets?

You'd like to think with us pretty much guaranteed the Play Off money (roughly £3.5m from what I can see) and the group stages of Europa as a minimum guaranteed then we'd go out and get our targets. If RM sees these as Mendy the CB and hopefully a LB then great. Get them signed.
Josh Doig would be incredible but can't see it happening?

If we did qualify for CL group stages it would make us a more attractive option for a player to join.

MPH, it's my understanding that we are exploring a couple of loans with options / obligations should we qualify for the UCL.
This is viewed as the best vehicle financially.
I assume as they would have low cash impact now and the fees would could be settled at the end of the season but before the closure of this reporting period - ensuring the spend is within the current period.

It's been some window
Probably the best window so far in a long time for incomings
Just need to try move some on and trim the squad
But RM I think will have the strongest Rangers squad in possibly a decade by time this window closes.

I hope you're right EHL regarding the options to buy etc as I'm sick of falling in love with loan players and them breaking my heart and leaving lol
I think MPH we will see a couple of permanent signings followed by a loan or two but only once we have more outgoings as our squad is way too big now.

I always look at our bench stingo, very strong now with a few missing on Saturday mate, another few signings and will be good players sitting in the stand.

Agree - excellent window . the 2 wingers who we bought and the djiga loan and rothwell stand out. aasgard soon to be the same . let's not forget young cameron . potential is an understatement.

Well, the good news is that the success of this window has largely been down to the work put in by the recruitment team over the last 6-9 months and Purdy already has the team working hard on targets for January and next Summer.
We're finally starting to operate like a proper club.

Excluding loans, I would rate players as follow, Angus.
Fernandez - 3 - squad player.
Rothwell - 2 - fighting with Raskin for the 6.
Cameron - 2 - squad player but now staking a claim as a starter after his midweek performance.
Aasgraard - know nothing about him.
Gassama - 1
Antman - 1
So I'm looking for a quality striker and another quality CH.

How many loan players can we have at any one time, I thought it was a maximum of 3 from outside of Scotland.

Hard to say its been a good window after 4 games, 3 of which we all complained about the performance (especially against Motherwell ) .
Djiga and Gassama have looked good and Cameron and Antman ( in one game), Rothwell has been ok. Fernandez has hardly played, Aasgard hasn't played due to injury and Moore hasn't played either. Aarons I'm not sure about, has understandably struggled a bit at left back but even at right back he has looked a bit dodgy in possession, so the juries out.
It looks hopeful but let's not get carried away after 4 games, we've been there before.

Ehl, loaning a couple of players with obligation then paying it off in this financial year is terrible business, u pay it over length of contract which is standard business.
Like we have done re Asgard fernandes antman, that's how the big clubs operate.

Wsl are your number ratings where you think the players were in choice, e. g. Rothwell was our second choice number 6. I think it was said he was Martin's choice so he would be first choice. not asking how you rate them as players but were they the first choice we had. so Fernandez might have been the first choice development CH we wanted.

MPH don't think we are we've spent a good bit already and I heard that if the current owners see value they will pay for it within the scope of ffp.
