If we do not win today, using these tactics, how long would we give it to work?
Do we have a back up plan, if so, not seen it yet!
These are the games that cost us last season, we have to win.

We've used two different formations in both competitive games a back 5 and a back 4 so there is clearly a back up plan/ ways to mix it up if it's not working.
Both formation changes in both games also proved to work.

For me it's all about the 3 points.
Don't care if we win ugly until the players are up to speed with what Martin wants them do.
Or he gets the players in who can play his system.
Aye, we will mump and moan along the way.
But sometimes you just have to trust the process after all the previous false dawns.
Lack of service to the strikers is a concern.
And the defence still gives me the fear.

As mystar says we just need to win games even if its ugly it doesn't matter, until rm tactics start to shine through. Imo will take 2/ 3 months as we've still got another 2/ 3 starting 11 to come through the door.

So if we don't win today using these tactics are you saying the tactics need to change. what happens if the manager isn't willing to change tactics to fit in with what you think is needed; he definitely won't change his footballing principles as he has said that regularly now. as others are saying this principle (as there have been variations in the style) takes a while for players to adjust to and become confident in. I suspect we won't win every game during that time so how long will it be before fans are shouting for the managers head. we need to stick with it as we can't keep changing managers every season.

So you think is ok to lose/ draw games, until the system starts to improve, don't think the true fans will accept this.
I am still hurting from last season, hate Rangers losing any game, I can't watch my team even draw, if the system is not showing signs of improving, its ether the players not good enough for it or its it does not work.

I'm not a fan of playing out from the back, if so play it too deep lying mid. We then have that cushion. playing out will just make teams do high press on us. Very predictable.

One thing will say unlike PC, RM seems far more malleable with plan B in cupboard. Just wait see, worried though defence, but all in all think ĥigh press will prevail.
