Third qualifying round
The winners of each tie advance to the play-off round of their respective path.
• Defeated sides in the champions path switch to the UEFA Europa League play-off round.
• Defeated sides in the league path switch to the league phase of the UEFA Europa League.
First time I have seen this specifically for 3rd round results, no one else posted anything that I hadn't already done, so I missed one thing, shoot me, ? happens?
Gdog posted everything I posted but he interpreted it differently as did OT neither posted the part above that you had with specific information on the 3rd qualifiers, I missed it also, no cigar?.

TBH fork I have no idea why you've made such a song and dance about the process. UEFA is the only place you needed to go to, if you had you would have seen clearly that we go straight into the Europa, at a minimum, if we win tonight. Added screen shot to sightings.

Funny r sole? and I did get it a UEFA sollof, I and others missed/ didn't include one thing that Angus did. Interpretation of the rules I got wrong others didn't.
Also I posted the links to both official CL and Europa sites yesterday or day before, ED never put them up,

Same as last year Sollof with the A/ B list and qualifiers which was correct, everyone asks, only Angus n myself seem to do the looking last year, get more right than wrong, Angus was correct as was ot/ gdog, I was wrong for missing a heading, so shoot me, won't involve myself in trying to help again, but thanks anyway.

Fork I actually fully agreed with you at first after reading Gdog reply to other post and wrote my response to you stating that we had to get to THIRD qualifying round to be guaranteed europa league football but that we were currently only on SECOND round. Then I read it back and it dawned on me, very slowly I might add, that if we beat Pana we're into third round ??.
I can't however wrap my small brain around why the league path gets direct entry if eliminated in third round and the champions path do not. Not for me to worry about ??♂️.

Fork doesn't really matter, the only thing that does is the result tonight. I was never in doubt about the process but haven't discussed it on the site as much as yourself and others.

Fork I applaud you for trying to work your way through the confusion the UEFA website is with its multiple pages of information on thsi which all say different things. I wasn't getting as involved after the squad discussions last season but had a look when you posted.
It was only last night that I found the page I quoted which makes it really clear. all of the other UEFA pages and other sources were just confusing.
lets win and make sure all the effort was worth it.

So the fixtures in my above post are the 3rd round qualifiers for the champions league. It then explains to you what happens to the winners and the losers of each 3rd round fixture in each path (league and champions) . It states that the winners will go through to the champions league playoffs of all the ties in the 3rd round. It then states that the losers of the champions path go into the play off round of the europa league. Then it says the losers from the league path (our path) will switch to the league phase of the europa league. I think your reading it wrong fork mate.

My understanding was Fork had said if we lost tonight we weren't guaranteed European football. I simply fail to acknowledge that oor wee fork could be wrong ???.
