Are Dessers &/ or Igamane injured?
Concerned we might only have Danilo to play CF for Tuesday night.
I thought this was one of the 1st positions we'd look to upgrade. Not convinced by any of the 3 is the answer.

Maybe players hoping for a transfer ASAP and not wanting to risk the deal by playing and getting a serious injury? Happens a lot. See also Lennon Miller.

Im convinced that all 3 are good enough to play vs panathanikos and in the spfl, not sure why they wouldn't be.

Why are you concerned with Danilo leading the line? If that boy stays fit and gets a good run of games, then we will all most likely be on here asking for him to stay our CF as he is still a quality player. Now if he get's injured again then we are screwed.

Panathinaikos ain't as good as many on here believe, it will be a tough tie yes but they not anything special.

Dessers misses too many chances
Danilo injury prone and not convinced he's a CF
Igamane moment of brilliance followed by lots of inexperience.
If Danilo is our only CF ( and I don't know if this is the case, hence why I'm asking original Q) then we are short on backup
As regards comment about my ability to understand the situation. My point would be we added to squad in areas we have plenty options I. e midfield without shipping anyone out so I still think my point is valid.

Totally agree bbj. Will dani score as many as cyril? Probably not, but he definitely won't be far away. What he will gives us is the ability to hold the ball up to get his team up the park and the right pass to keep the move going, also good at quick short sharp one two's in and around which helps create space. Am rooting for him this year he's not had any luck the boy. I think cyril and iga are both going tbh.

So my point is I think we're light up top for whatever the reasons … we didn't strengthen and I get we maybe trying to move players out before doing so but we have very limited cover till we do so.
We have brought in multiple midfielders irrespective of how many we have.
I think we should have brought in CF cover.
Angus1812 - I never said they are rubbish just that I don't think they are the answer (long term) but if they were fit - fine but they played no part in preseason so we're putting it all in Danilo …

Broste you saying Igamane isn't good enough? maybe it's you that requires a lie down, that lad will reach the top of the game IMHO, Danilo is a very good footballer as well, Dessers scored 29 goals last season, we still have they three this season am more than happy.

Ok I have my opinion and seems everyone else has a differing one. That's fine no issues with that.

Yes Igamane has potential but he is still inexperienced and it shows
Yes Dessers scored 29 goals but how many chances does he miss
Danilo not for me.
Irrespective of all that only Danilo has featured pre season. I think it's a risk we haven't strengthened if Dessers / Igamane are not fit or being protected for a move.

Well it's not end of is it Broste just because you said it.
Dessers scored more goals than any Celtic striker we still lost the league, we didn't lose to them and still lost the league. Our stikers are more than good enough to make us win the league, the issue was goals from others (not Cerny) they contributed very little.
That being said I would still like upgrades but anyone we bring in is an unknown entity and we won't do that unless 1 of the 3 are sold.

I'm not happy with it either but have to accept they are good enough to win the league etc but I'd prefer Dessers to go and bring that Israeli boy in but only happen when/ if he is sold.
