So the experienced players coming in to be the spine (as some said when martin took over) who will the experienced forward be? i'm thinking it will 100% be vardy it would make the most sense.
Id like to see defenders and wingers in next as imo that's our weakest areas.

Davie Weir was about 40 when we signed him and he was a brilliant servant. Age is just a number nowadays. Ronaldo is nearly in his 50s and still flying high and looking like a Greek god!

No way we sign a player that age to lead the line, he was always a player that relied heavily on pace, at 39 he doesn't have that anymore.

I can't see us paying the wages that Vardy will be looking for. He'll get EPL level wages somewhere, but hopefully not from us. Shankland, I would sign and he would be a good squad player.
Jim, Ronaldo is one of the greatest players of all time, so you can't compare Vardy to him. Plus, Ronaldo is only 40, so a long way from 50.

Bigtrfc75 - 15 goals from Vardy will not be acceptable by some fans - Dessers returns over the last 2 seasons haven't been good enough for some of our fans.

EHL in January you spoke about experienced number 6 and others of that ilk so I suspected the experience would be added whether there was a takeover or not. just might be different players. Good that we are trying to get a few more experienced leaders in the team as we have lacked that recently.

I was talking about myself ? i posted when martin took over he wanted 3 or 4 experienced players of his own choosing it was just the names i was told were wrong.

Muscat you do know we can check historic posts so can see you said on 19 June you had been told we would only sign 3 players in total (just click on your name first post in case you have forgotten) .
I prefer to go by EHL's info anyway where he said that Martin wanted 3 players of his own choosing and we will soon now have 3.
