Baj was put in to nullify McGregor not play wide, which I thought he did reasonably well. Allowing Raskin and Diamonde to run the midfield. Shame Cerny wasn't having a great game and having hagi come off left us a bit short in attack.

Bajrami was played in the same role as Clement used him in the cup final and he did a decent job, use of the ball was good too . I thought we played well enough and matched them all over the pitch. Another penalty not given to us, cost us the game again.

Both Jefte and Cerny were poor. Cerny very Lazy. Jefte will never be good enough.
I thought Dio, Raskin, Barron and Balogun were immense.
Delighted for big Cyriel, great finish.
Bajrami done his job to stop McGregor and that he did.

Wasnt it obvious that the reason he was there was to nullify McGregor as it worked the time before. count how many many times McGregor touched the ball in 1st half compared to normal and you will see it worked. fans for ages have said he strolls through the game well he wasn't allowed to this time. He also sprinted back a couple of times at least to provide cover which isn't bad for a lazy player.

I have only seen the goals I was trying to watch a bit on phone but wasn't great to watch on.
Was a great finish by desser and there's was poor defending Tav letting maeda in again ?.

Barry and his team were an upgrade on pc. Steadied the ship let's say but not all plain sailing with a couple dodgy results. Played Celtic twice, better team in both games, won once and drawn the other and shown our sqaud of players ain't a million miles behind Celtic as some suggested. Seems you want blood from a stone gdog.

Tav marked maeda well he's always going to get passed him a couple of times due to pace. You never seen the game but jump on the same player time and time again . Their goal was an absolute fluke.

SWS - I disagree.
That Celtic side was there for the taking and out of possession our diamond was all over the place.
They adapted in the second half and dominated - we didn't adapt.

EHL I agree re not switching in 2nd half when they managed to get the better of the diamond but even then they didn't cause us too many issues. sometimes the manager will try something different to try and out-think the opposition and perhaps this was what happened here.
and yes Maeda did get past Tav for the goal but then Souttar tries to be too cute and pass the ball rather than thump it into row Z.
