Gofer, I wouldn't necessarily say we need to get business done earlier but we need to look at the process. If Beale and Wilson want a player then they should be able to do the deal without referring it to Parks. There just isn't any dynamism at that level in the Club these days.

It just goes to show what a massive error it was not to buy Veerman when we had the chance. Or guys like Skov Olsen, Raskin, and more. We’ve also allowed two of our most important players (Kent and Morelos) to run down their contracts and potentially leave for free. We’ve been grossly mismanaged when it comes to player assets and it’s seen us go from a European final, to a team in need of a complete rebuild the following season.

Veerman wouldn't have worked out at Rangers due to his arrogance. Was dropped by Ruud in a big game due to his attitude and they've clashed a few times in his short stint at PSV. Good player but he most likely won't end up at a time like United.

Never sure what posters mean when they say we allowed Kent and Morelos to run down their contracts. What are the club meant to do if a player doesn't want to sign a new contract and nobody wants to offor them a deal from another club. Their contract simply runs down. Happens with many players at many clubs.

The one I feel we missed is skov Olsen but we are slow to act and try to undercut Thier true value which is ok if he's a little known player but not a solid international.
