Only passing on/ sharing what i was told last night guys. I was told rangers have asked the question regarding bringing back ryan kent, on a 6 month loan deal ?I'm told talks have definitely taken place ?I wonder has CoplandFront5 or John227 or anyone else for that matter heard anything regarding this ?.

Seen this online and this is just my opinion I would take him back
He's been out to turkey and didn't like it get him back and if he's near his best he's a class player.

My opinion on his day great, but for over a season with us let himself down, I think the ship has sailed, we need new blood, board really needs to get the finger out n back clement too get the players he wants

I just don't see it happening under Clement and his new Management Team and it certainly would question the credibility of Bennett an etc., if we were to go down such a route.
The signing of Kent and of Alfie and others at the time was a positive move and one that the then CEO and Chairman should have built on, especially after we won the league. We didn't and as a result we moved backwards but thankfully that Chairman, CEO and DoF have now departed Ibrox, we have a new Regime and we need to move forward with better players slowly but surely replacing the vast majority of those already at the Club.
Bringing back players is not the answer especially when they don't come close to what should be the minimum acceptable at Rangers.

I can fully understand reasons for saying no. But a 6 month loan would be fine for me. Do you really think we will sign anyone who is better in january? that's my thinking. But don't believe it to be true.

Was overrated when he was here and it seems even more so once he moved on.
Average player who didn't produce overly much for the outlay and another who disappeared under pressure.

I get that many wouldn't want to take him back, so think it would be a controversial option. Personally, I'm the kind of guy that would take him and Morelos back in a heartbeat, they both played well for us at times, and I would hope this manager can get more out of them than any previous ones. I also think they both instantly improve the team (over the likes of Dessers and Matondo) . Just my tuppence though.
Hypothetically bringing him in on loan gives us an issue where we either need to pay to get him back (which I imagine wouldn't go down well at all given he left on a free) or just getting him match sharp for Fenerbace of an English team, which again is unappealing. Which would make the whole deal tough.

He and Alfie made their bed, they thought they could be better elsewhere only when left have they realised what they had. Blown it, never want them back especially the way they downed tools last year IMO. Let’s move onwards and upwards.

Kent under PC COULD be great again. 6month loan, nothing to lose. Kent would need to play well to put himself in the shop window. Some fans need to lose the ego a bit. People make mistakes, its about learning from them.
(However the main focus should be a goal scorer (Shankland! ) )

Isn’t too bad an idea. He knows the league etc but it would also allow Sima to play more as a striker therefore negating the need to get one in January.
Maybe the targets PC wants aren’t available till the summer. We have been looking for a winger this window so having someone known to him with little risk may appeal to him?

No no no on Kent. On present form the lad wouldn’t get on ahead of McCausland or Sima. I also was never a fan of Shankland, a year or so ago I would have said we could do better. If there is a deal to be done then that is the one for me over the next few weeks.

Would definitely take Kent back on a 6 month loan, We have no natural out and out LW, if it helps us win the league and go further in the Europa makes sense.
Same posters on here greetin aboot Matondo and Dessers not being good enough, but would turn there nose up at Kent and Morelos both on 6 month loans both capable of hurting Celtic and Solid ean
PC was asked about Kent and Morelos both returning a while back.
Clearly the Fenerbahce link was always about Kent and not Batshuayi who has now chosen to stay at Fenerbahce, Batsman was never coming to us, he has stated the only club he will leave Fenerbahce in this window would be for Real Madrid, and there is no way he is on the level they have right now.
Be mad if we won Europa and SPFL with 3 loan players up front in Kent, Silva, Sima.
Lammers out, Kent in.
Get Hagi back as well.
Morelos obviously isn't coming back as he has taken a wage decrease from 40 K to 20 K, rather than activate his contract option of free to go if Santos were relegated and chosen to stay.

Kent had his chance at Rangers. From 2018 - 2023 he scored 28 goals. Sima so far this season has scored 10 that says it all for me.

This signing and Alfredo signings are the only two where I would be worried about if PC wants kent I don’t know if I can get behind that he is a waster and certainly not a class player we can’t sign mediocre players anymore.

I just checked and Sima from LW this season is only 4 goals behind Kents tally in his last 3 combined and is half way to breaking Kents 5 year tally in half a season.
Yeah, no, moving Sima to accommodate Kent is a f*cking terrible idea :D.

Kents poor finishing cost us the Europa League? that's got to be a joke, his great play and finishing helped get us there in the first play. His chance at the end was a difficult one, the keeper made a great save and its quite likely it would not have stood anyway as Roofe hadn`t managed to keep the ball in play before he crossed . The bottom line is that Ramsays awful penalty cost us the final. If we don`t have the cash to buy another winger getting Kent back on loan for 6 months would give us better options than we have now . I would play Kent before Wright and Matondo every day of every week.

I’d rather take a gamble on a free contract who is 36 and has had dodgy knee operations than bring Kent back walked out on us and put tools away and already proved he doesn’t have right attitude when he was our player never mind when he’s someone else’s
He’s also now on a downwards spiral no thanks.
