I am told we have an active interest in the following 3 players
James Wilson
Josh Mulligan
Jack Milne.

I wouldn't want mulligan.
Is he predominantly a cm or a rb?
Is he any different from McCrorie who can't get a sniff and likely never will.
I like Wilson he'd be a great replacement for Miovski.
Milne to replace Souttar? I believe Aberdeen value him at £5-6m.

I've been fortunate to work with all 3, really rate all 3 and would love us to sign all 3.

Interesting EHL. I know James and Josh pretty well and rate them both very highly. I don't know enough about the boy Milne to make comment on him.

Jack is similar personality wise to Josh, so definitely has the minerals to pull on the jersey.
I genuinely believe that if he had pace he'd already be playing at a higher level.
When we were looking at him under Rohl I was a bit worried as I thought it'd be a repeat of Souttar, as Rohl's high line would expose him. But under McInnes I think he'd be an excellent signing as can play in a back 4, back 3 and can also step in to the middle of the park.

None improve the starting 11 imo and only 1 would make the bench.

I agree EHL 👍i also like/rate all three 👌We should have signed mulligan before Hibs a couple of years back 🤔 Mulligan has a terrific engine and a strong boy who can play right back and right midfield 👍🇬🇧.

Would take Mulligan in a heartbeat. Think he'll end up at Celtic in January though.

Is Mulligan a right back?
I know we were linked with him previously.

Typical Rangers, ignore Mulligan on a free and then pay millions for him a couple of years later .
I would take Wilson as he looks to have real potential , not sure where Mulligan would fit into and don't know why we would want a centre back who is not even first choice at Aberdeen .I don't see any point on signing average Scottish players just for the sake of it .It rarely works out as the signings of Barron , Cameron , Shankland and McCrorie have shown , Penrice being the exception.
If we want more Scots let's develop our own.

Bench warmers the 3 of them especially with our line up now, maybe 3 seasons ago but not now. Wilson will be good in the future worth keeping an eye on. If we win the league this year we will be in the champions league so need better than them rather use our own youngsters as squad fillers.

Only if we win the league and only if we get thru qualifiers, 2 quali rounds and a playoff round just to get there.

I think Mulligan's best position is RB. More of a neutral midfielder. I think he's better off the ball and strong defensively. But is good at getting you up the park when carrying the ball. I think he'd suit our FB style better. Just my opinion. He'll never do much (if anything) in front of goal so for me that comes into it.
Milne, still has a lot of developing to do.
James Wilson probably suits playing with a partner. Needs games to develop but has certainly bulked and grown a bit which will help him in Scotland. I do think he's better off has good potential but he needs to play. Would like him at Rangers as one of 4 strikers.

Wslgers- how can you say those signings haven't worked out? Barron hasn't performed badly for us when called upon, he became a full international and his value has risen. He's in the doldrums at the minute but I don't see him as anything other than a reliable squad option if he comes back and we will be able to sell him at a profit so I don't see that as any kind of blunder, he's not let himself down at Rangers for what he cost us.
You're probably little more entitled to that opinion with him and Cameron but McCrorie and Shankland have been here two minutes, Shankland was starting to look a smart bit of business and he'll still be that if he comes back as backup to two in form strikers.
Nobody was expecting McCrorie to be Cafu but the guy can cover 3 or 4 positions and along with Cammy Devlin who's not Scottish but sort of qualifies as an SPL stalwart there have been very positive noises about what they bring to the training ground, success doesn't just happen on the pitch so I think you're maybe being a bit unfair and fatalistic there, judge those guys come May.

Wsl, mulligan rejected Rangers then Martin said no, mulligan did not think he could get a game with us
I said last year we extensively watched Jack Milne, very much a modern day ch.
Not sure McInnes would sign Wilson.
