Cheers John no real surprises, I was more concerned with the squad lads who aren't getting much of a sniff due to lack of Europe.

I don't think Godfrey will choose to stay John unless he gets back in the team and stays there before end of season.
For me I'd honestly play him at cb on Wednesday and I'd also play Drago at cm instead of Neil.
Just my opinion and preference for now.
Godfrey can play right back well, but Sterling clearly forst choice. I'd say costa 2nd choice and Godfrey was simply getting some minutes into him due to how well he's been training as that's what McInnes said afterwards his trainings been phenomenal.

Wishy I agree I'd prefer we keep an intact 24 and sell the ones we expect.
I just wonder if Brugge come in and are willing to meet to valuation we gave them in summer before he was injured then we will maybe take it and replace with the Doncaster left back and that's where the links came from.

Change our central defence, is this for real, am I losing my mind here, if Derek changed the central defence he would be exposed to the most horrendous and deserved criticism,

Just finished reading of possibly West Ham coming in for Raskin. If they do, and we could agree a favourable transfer fee, should we sell prior to him entering the final year of his contract in the summer? 🤔.

I also think Drago should be playing ahead of Neil.

I think they can bring in any manager they want and it won't make a slight bit of difference until they sort their recruitment out.
They probably need to spend about 750m John to have a team capable of finishing the n the top 4 again.
It was an absolute miracle how carrick managed to do so last year.
For what it's worth I'd go for Ancelotti if I was them. But theyd need to spend big to attract him as the players brought in this summer aren't the required standard.

And I would suggest, that Derek McInnes is every bit as good as 80% of the Prem managers , he would be perfectly suitable for at least half maybe more of the epl teams , I'm not sure how you would think they are all better than him, think you are looking for a response there John , and I gave you one
If you think that the Rangers manager isn't good enough to manage Sunderland, Hull city or Coventry then you obviously don't think very much of him, in fact when I said that I wanted Derek long ago you went so far as to say he " wasn't welcome at Ibrox" and hinted at a disgraced man somehow . I've seen that kind of comment before about other people, I myself have no doubt whatsoever he is always welcome and is very capable.

Believe McInnes could do job in the EPL. Whether he would want to go or gets opportunity is another matter. Delighted we eventually got him, always remember WS saying he was the right man.
