As I've said further down we are looking for a solution for Souttar, that doesn't necessarily have to be concluded today with a couple of other windows remaining open.
I know some might think it's crazy but I've heard a option if nothing else is agreed upon is to release John.
McCausland - lovely fella but its acknowledged that he isn't up to the level overall required. There is interest but again if nothing finalised in the coming days then he may also be released.
Nsiala- again some interest but heard nothing more.

McCausland doesn't deserve that. Boy bleeds blue and is a good back up. Nice payoff for Soapy. Whoever gave him a new deal needs sacked. They've cost the club a fortune.

McCausland isn't going to get game time. We have the 5 wingers that was the number wanted, no Europe, so he might bleed blue, but he's not going to play, so if a move can't be agreed upon, getting released is one of the options.
As for Souttar, that is just what I've been told, that terminating is an option.
These would both be last resorts. I believe McCausland might be on the move, but far from guaranteed.

Rumour with Souttar is that he was the central figure in the physio scandal in February. Doesn't explain why he got a new deal two weeks after that, though.

Not really football related, but I came across the squad walking through Glasgow airport last year. Asked McCausland if I could get a picture for my boy and he refused. Other more seasoned pros like Butland were happy to grab a quick snap (wish was great for my lad, him being a GK). It's put me off McCausland ever since. 🤣

Wouldn't take that to heart, YoJimbo. The boy McCausland used to get pelters off Tims for being 'ugly' etc online, maybe he just doesn't like photos. Sad really.
