Then we run the risk of losing him for nothing. Isn't it best to get something for a player who wants to play elsewhere rather than nothing? If he doesn't sign a new contract, if he stays, his value will only decrease.
I get about not undervaluing our players, but we're close to doing the same with him as Morelos and Kent when we could have had

We have knocked back bigger offers than that & he wouldn't have been left out of a squad if they weren't close on a fee. It feels like we will use any angle available to lash out at the club. Yes, we are in a real transition period at the moment. Yes, it hurts. Yes, it's embarrassing. By November we will start to see something that we will start to believe in again. There have been too many false Dons over the years. Hopefully this fix is a permanent one. 🙏

There's been more than one low ball proposal made.
His team have been given a deadline, or he will be staying. If they leave us with no time to replace him, he won't go.
He won't go if the club do not get his valuation.
His team know that valuation, and they know what they are doing.
They are doing the same to us as they did to Liege.

I'm with you Dado, unfortunately figures like 20-25 mill were always hopeful at best. Think Raskin also gets a chunk of any fee? So we might not make much out of it.

Raskin is nearly 26, no team who is also a selling team is going to pay 20m plus for him as the whole point in buying these players is to flip them for profit. We had to hope a bigger team wanted him.

Clubs know we need money now. Have always said I don't expect us to get even £10m. I really hope I'll be wrong. Q the Engels money comments, but we'll see soon enough.

Gazza, no one ever came in for Kent cause he was poor for us & the only bids I remember for Morelos were £5 million, which wasn't that much.
