Couldn't agree more, gooner. Raskin is wildly over rated, the boy can't make a two yard pass, can count on one hand the amount of games he turns up, and because he played in a bang average Belgium team and was pish there too, he's somehow a world beater.

It's the transfer window. If people want to discuss transfers on a rumours site, they can. Let's be honest, things change all the time in transfers, so you might have info that it's not happening WATP, but something could change tomorrow and it could end up happening, so if you don't like people discussing it, then don't read.

My understanding is yes Ferguson is one of us and it fits the perfect for the family legacy.
However one thing I know he and his partner are absolutely loving life in Italy, he has a great network of friends who visit them and has invested a good amount of money back home in which he has organised companies to look after.
If we forget it's Rangers for one moment, the guy is extremely happy in life where he is at.
Wishy, you are spot on, things can change, but I think a lot of ducks would need to be in a row for this to happen.

WATP, that is perfectly fine if this is the case but, like John and I have said, if he truly wants to be a Rangers player and Rangers are keen, then now should be the time for it to happen.
We want players that are in their prime to elevate our squad and not just come for a year or two to collect a decent wage in the twilight of his career.

What I will say regarding Lewis Ferguson and Nico Raskin is I 100% think Ferguson will be a better player for Rangers than Raskin ever was, and I rate Raskin. 🤔 I'd have Lewis Ferguson in our midfield all day long over Nico Raskin, absolutely no doubt. 🤔 🇬🇧

I think if we had a bid accepted and the change was there, Lewis would come, that's me personally, maybe I'm wrong but that's my gut feeling having listened to Barry and Derek discuss it on podcasts.
I think the issue is whether Rangers want to spend the money on him, that I am not confident on, and the only way I can see a slight chance of it happening is if Raskin moves on for a good fee and Bologna drop their asking price if Lewis pushes for a move.

As much as I don't think he will be here this window, I am positive he is the right person and position we need.
We don't seem to have any identity in the middle of the park, and if we look at most Old Firm successful teams, it's most certainly when they have a strong midfielder as captain.

Alloager, how many of my posts from my friend that I go to lunch with are almost spot on the money.
Ferguson one is closer to home as I'm from Overtown and a lot of people in this area have known each other for years.
Ferguson is very happy in life in Italy and so is his partner. Sounds horrible to say, but Rangers isn't everything to everyone nowadays. He will be a ger one day, but I have been told it's not anytime soon.

The understanding when initial talks happened was that this may take until the last days of the transfer window to complete.
Frustrating for all, but given the fee and, now obviously, the connection of the sale of Raskin to facilitate the fee.
But obvious this may now happen seeing as Raskin is deep in talks to leave.
This may be back on track, both parties want this to happen, regardless if it does or doesn't come off.
The fee has never been the issue, I've been consistent on this one since I heard about a get together with Ferguson's team in the US.
