I know Raskin can be inconsistent, but I think this late in the transfer window it would be more valuable to keep him, as he's still our best midfielder imo. Hopefully he signs at least another 1 year deal, and we can sell him next season if he wants to move on.

The manager said that searching for players is not his job, but suggested he was involved in some way or has chats with the people responsible next door to his office. Don't think he's loving that set up.

Burgher, the fact is that it's not McInnes or any other manager's job to search for players, it is his job to get involved and give his okay before we sign anybody. I don't think he was expressing dissatisfaction at all.
Signings wise, I would think that, having signed 3 midfielders, we were expecting Nico to leave, so if he does, there would be no urgency to replace him in that role.
Investing any money in a good quality attacking midfielder seems like a good idea to me.

I think Dragojevic, once fully settled, will outshine Raskin this season. We got a very talented young lad for a very good price.
Future Rangers star if realises his full potential, and will go on to play at a higher level than Raskin.
How many clubs have actually bid for Nico this season?
Doesn't look like clubs falling over themselves to get him.
Not like he is prime Tielmans or De Bruyne quality.
Nor will he ever be. A solid CDM and nothing more, same as he was in Belgium.
We should play him as CDM only this season and let Chuk and Drago push forward and fire in the long range shots on goal, they are both better at attacking than Raskin.

Turkish press no better nor worse than Scottish or English media, or most football media actually, and they do pay very large wages for some players and pay all others accordingly, some people seem to believe they don't pay the wages, there's been a few cases a while back where they disputed contracts or suchlike, but players wouldn't play in Turkish football if they weren't paying.
