Lads, do you guys never learn? He's never scored a goal in pro football. We are a basket case the now, the pressure is ridiculous at the moment. That is not the environment for a player like that to come and make an impact. Wake up to the same mistakes we have made for so many years.
We need players who are going to relish playing under the pressure and get us out the mess we are in, and when we are more succesful we can integrate players like that when they come into a settled team.

Naderi's just turned 23. He is our player. He needs as much game time as possible to help him adapt to Scottish football. If we don't want a runner in Naderi, then there is a poacher type there with Miovski.
Shankland can play up top if need be and Thelo played in the number 10 spot. We have a young striker in Zebedee coming through.
Other areas are greater priority IMO. LB, RB, another wide player, etc.

We need a proven striker brought in, not some kid who's never scored in first team football. When are we going to learn? We will never win anything if we keep going for project signings. That mob go out and spend £11m on Kasper Hogh who will prob get them 20 to 30 goals this season, and we are looking at 20 yr old Wilson.
We need to get the money spent on a proven goalscorer and stop messing around.

Lads, based on how he's scored a power for Villas youth and U23 teams since he joined them.
What's different from him to say getting a loan in from Real Madrid or Barcelona who has same credentials?
Bet yous would all salivate at that prospect though?
He's an all round type player with an unbelievable record for goals at every age group he's played.
We have Shanks and Naderi who would likely start ahead of him, so he offers cover and support while knowing the club and country so will settle instantly.
We're all on here shouting about Robbie Ure while Wilson has been rated higher at every stage of his career so far.
He'd be a tremendous signing.

If we signed a loan who hasn't scored a goal for any pro team I would say the exact same thing, Stevie. Good player clearly, but will not be able to do deal with the pressure here. You clearly underestimate how hard it is for young players to make an impact.

A lot of pundits have called Shankland the best striker in the league for years now. Maybe play him in the box and stop fannying around trying to make him link up, and he will score plenty. Just need to hope the new wingers are good to do the work for him.
