Gassama started last season on fire, but that soon dampened down. His decision making is atrocious at times, and, for me, we need much better. There's talent there, but he is just so unreliable that we can't rely on him - especially as a starter.

If you want a player like Gassama who is able to change a game in a flash, you have to accept some inconsistency at our level of spend, imo. I hope we keep him. Think he'll have a good season under Del. He's only 22.

Gassama wants away, manager likes him, but he wants away so they won't step in his way if someone bids for him, what they think he's worth. He will be away by the end of the window, I think, going on what he says to a mate.

I don't know anything about this Markelo, I hope he's back up because Antman is going. Possibly McCausland, Baj, and Souttar would be good business, to see about at least 8 or 9 million for them all. Using conservative estimations, 4.5 Antman, told we will at least get a couple million for Bajrami.
Say 2.5, taking it to 7 million, and should get at least 1.5 million for both McCausland and Souttar, taking it to 8.5 million. I'd blow the lot on the best rw I could find.
All I can say for Markelo is he looks really quick on YouTube.
Must be something about him if we have been looking at him for a year.

R1, I agree with you and it was where Ross McCausland was at his best. We need impact from the bench and I think Gassama would give u that same as Curtis.

I truly think we need 2 class right wingers yesterday. 🤔 We've no right winger with Antman now away to Anderlecht and McCausland about to be sold also. 🤔 We need another left winger even if Gassama is staying. 🤔 If one of the right wingers that McInnes is bringing in on loan is Markelo, imo he needs a better right winger and game changer to start and Markelo as back up.
🤔 The same on the left, ie. we need a class starting left winger and we'll have Curtis and Gassama as back up. 🤔 Sterling easily our best right back but we need to sign another right back and left back to push Rommens. 🤔 Finally, even after signing Makhanya, we need another centre half. 🤔 🇬🇧

Markelo, I know nothing of, but let's say he's in to rotate with a first pick.
Cerny could prove too expensive, wages wise imo.
If his club hurry up and get Salah over the line, then they'll want too dolloar for all their players to try cover some of the £100m offered to Salah, so not going to be cheap to buy either.
Wonder if £5m is enough for Bloom for the Duberry boy too.

Tav123, No idea where it all comes from. Last season he played wherever he was told to play, always came off and shook the coaching staff's hands.
No one was saying Cerny had a bad attitude when he was giving it to the fans 4 games into his time with us. 😂

Honestly, baffles me how some view Gassama. He is inconsistent & has poor decision making, but he's 22 & will improve. He definitely does have a poor attitude, or he'd not have played out of possession or tracked back.
Don't see those same criticisms of Curtis for people when he's the same with decisions & is maybe a little consistent but that was at Killie, not us.

I'd actually add he rarely has a decent game, and he never has a great game, ability doesn't make u a good player, showing it does.
