Even with 10% it's a good profit. Would be a good move for him. The reality is that we need to take young players, improve them, and sell on. If we bring in other young promising players this summer, then all for it. You could also argue that if that helps us get Dahl then I'm all for it.

He's in a tough position where I don't think he's 1st choice for us, but is now attracting much more lucrative offers due to his style and potential. I'd like him to stay, but I suppose a successful transfer policy means making profit on our players.

This is what I meant by giving him a price of 7/8m, it has to be above what we value him at to make it worthwhile, especially taking the Scottish thing into consideration.

West Ham are not paying 8 million quid for Barron. Not a chance. I've not heard his name mentioned once in my circle down here. I think folk are putting 2 and 2 together now, Koppen is Director Of Recruitment.

I said about how well Barron was playing here early in the season and was rubbished by a lot of people here and clubs in Serie A, and now West Ham interested, yet people think he's mince. Obviously, football people think he is good enough or would not be linked to these clubs.
Same stuff happened with likes of Adam McCormack, some players just need a regular run to pick up form, as we have seen with Chermiti last season.
