Cammy Devlin will not be signing for Rangers. He'll be in the MLS or lower English. He's not the standard of player we need to challenge on all fronts. Personally, don't rate Barron, but I hold him a lot higher than Devlin. He had one good season n every one making out it's Makelele we're attempting to sign.

Devlin was effective for Hearts because he was allowed to be ratty and physical and kick people.
He won't be allowed to do that wearing a Gers shirt, so he'll not be as good.
Devlin isn't a technical talent, he tries hard and winds people up.
I'd rather have Rice play before Devlin.

Ally, and how many times did a certain player Brown wind us up, and it worked a treat and won everything. We've not had that type since Barry Ferguson, Ian Ferguson, Graeme Souness, etc., so we have had players like him.
Our tactics and midfield of late haven't worked, so maybe he is a player we need, and might bring something we've been lacking for a long time.

Polar, because Celtic get away with that type of behaviour. Look at Lustig for example, he constantly fouled players during his time at Celtic & got 1 red after two yellows when he should have been sent off in the majority of Old Firms he played in, Johnston is the same now.
Seriously, can't be comparing Devlin to Barry Ferguson, Souness & so on, he's nowhere near those players in quality, he's not even on Brown's level.
Devlin may have the best defensive stats, but does nothing in attack, which we need. He's a player we've been "lacking", but does the exact same things as Barron.

I am referring to having some grit, DJB, so was trying to think of some of our previous players that had any, because we certainly haven't had any recently. Barron isn't as disciplined as Devlin, and they are similar players, so if we can sell Barron for 5-8 million and get Devlin for free, surely people can see that is a good idea.
I don't think Barron is a starter either this year, so for that money I would sell.

Cammy Devlin I think has matured over the last 2 years tbf. He was a pure tit but I have grown to like him now. Would be a decent addition to the squad.
