I'm going to be the bad guy here but there won't be any new signings made in the next 7 days despite all the rumours flying about.
Bjornabe is yet to have discussions with McInnes about players who have been identified and the latter does not start his work until Wednesday.
I believe we will sign a further 4 permanent players(and additional for each one who leaves). It's highly likely that we will add 3 loan deals on top of that too.
Expect things to happen in July or at the minimum towards the end of June

There isn't normally much movement while the World Cup is on anyway.
Clubs tend to wait til after that as that's what starts the domino effect of players moving.
That's evident by the fact we've not sold anyone, it's same as the loans really start to happen last couple days of window.
There's no rush here, we've got 7 weeks before first games.

Looks like I'm going to be the one that says this, but I hope to God your info is nonsense, and that's not a dig.
But are we seriously saying we will only be signing another 4 players? We need a minimum of 8 players, and we are putting our signings on hold until McInnes starts so we can discuss them with him.
We were supposed to be signing players based on the club, not the manager, so we weren't going round in circles, needing to replace the players if we appoint a new manager!
If this is true, we are becoming a joke of a team, and will be having another rough season!

I was struggling with the need to talk to McInnes to agree to it, but that we will sign 4 permanent signings plus 3 loans. What happens if McInnes only likes 3 of those offered? What happens if McInnes only thinks he needs 5 players? It just doesn't add up, but that might just be my logic.
Not criticising the rumour before everyone wets their pants for doing that, but just not following the logic.

My understanding from what I read is we will make 4 permanent signings.

Rwn, I got that but what about all the players we have already lost? How many loans and OOC players are left this summer? So, even before we get to signing people, if players are sold, we need 2 CHs, 2 RBs, 1 LB, 1 CM (6 role), 2 RWs.
That's 8 before we even get started! Nah Angus, you're spot on pal, but can you stop being aligned with my thinking as I prefer when we disagree. ? ?

Maybe I'm being overly sensible here and possibly EHL could clarify if he sees this, but I would assume that talks over transfers in progress, targets, ins, out, and all other parts of transfers would have taken place when speaking to McInnes about taking over, and I would assume those conversations will have continued since the announcement. But again, maybe I'm being overly sensible. ?

Before anybody else leaves, we need 2 right backs, 2 centre backs and a left back plus a right winger, that's 6 just to have a balanced squad.
I just hope any loans are experienced players who we maybe can't afford to buy like Cerny was, and no more young projects we are developing for other clubs like Meghoma.

Bigblue, I've come to the conclusion today that no-one really knows what's happening! Don't think anyone is genuinely itk basically, so many conflicting posts. ? Like you say, so many players have left already, then there's still a good few who will be surplus to requirements ie Danilo, Nsiala, McCausland, Cifuentes etc.
Then if we're selling the guys that posters on here are saying, Raskin, Diomande, Barron, Butland, we'll be left with half a squad to replace.

Haha, sorry guys. Yeah, so just to clarify, 7 will be brought in if we don't sign anyone else. 4 permanent and 3 loans (club seems to be keen on the loan with option deal now).
It's thought that at least 4 more will leave, though, so potentially 11 to come in.
Just won't happen this week, that's all! But makes for an exciting July.
Also, being told Cerny will not be coming back despite the rumours floating about. But we will look to bring in at least two attacking wide players (I hope Moore, but haven't heard anything about him from my source, just what I hope!).

Lundstrum, but that is only if McInnes thinks 7 should come in as you said he had to agree and he hadn't been spoken to yet. So not disbelieving you, but how do you know that we will bring in 7 if he hasn't agreed? He might think he only needs 3 and likes the squad he has. After all, according to someone else we only need a squad of 22 now.

Rwn, I think you are right; no-one knows anything as the club have it so tight. Too many people wanting to be itk for some reason. Will be same as last year with no-one near the mark until a day before when they will repeat a post from X and get it right; that is after getting the 5 before that wrong.
