I've heard from one of my work colleagues that we are interested in Cammy Devlin and Elliot Watt if Raskin leaves for Atalanta BC

18 Jun 2026 19:25:13
Sounds good to me. Raskin has been poor for a while. Best wishes, fair price and we move on.

18 Jun 2026 20:19:37
Would only take Devlin if Barron leaves. Too similar otherwise. Watt is a must for me though, a confident 6 that can start the play. Would take him in a heartbeat as we've not had that 6 for a long time.

18 Jun 2026 20:20:21
Neither of them are anywhere close to Raskin. Massive downgrade. Watt would be a good back up option and Devlin would be a good Barron replacement. If we are selling Raskin, we must be aiming higher with our replacement.

18 Jun 2026 20:44:55
Seriously ? Raskin is miles better than them.

18 Jun 2026 21:50:18
Barron is a far better player than Raskin in every single aspect. The Raskin glaze is mad. He's literally had one good season and then a handful of scattered half decent games, that is it. Barron is the future, selling him is wild.

18 Jun 2026 22:02:20
Nuts. ? ? ? ⬆️

18 Jun 2026 22:07:41
Player has good season and plays well against us; fans think he is the answer to everything. Watt, previously in his career, played League 1 and League 2 in England. If Championship level players aren't good enough for us, then why would we go 2 levels lower? He was p**s poor at St Johnstone and this was his only decent season in his career.

Harsh, I know, but true.

18 Jun 2026 22:11:58
Well, of course it's a downgrade, Wishybear, we sell players for 10+ millions and replace them with guys 2-7m. We then try turn them players into 10+ million players. Raskin is in his last year of his contract, so it matters little how much better he is than the possible replacements.

He simply has to be sold. And he's also massively underperformed for us for a long time considering we know how good he can be. Watt had a far better season than Raskin last season, in a worse team and looks a far more comfortable player for that position.

18 Jun 2026 22:28:56
I agree Angus Watt has had one good season and that is all.

18 Jun 2026 22:32:28
How is that mad, Fork? You show me what Raskin has done and I'll say I'm wrong. It's hardly an unpopular opinion between fans, too. Raskin has been called out many times. You're on the boat of wanting home grown talent, yet want to sell Barron. That's nuts. Pretty sure loaning back out Curtis was mentioned too, nuts.

19 Jun 2026 00:48:24
BillyH, Raskin has 2 years left, bud! Now is the time to sell. ??

19 Jun 2026 05:54:50
I'm on no boat for homegrown players, the best players, yes. Barron is not better than Raskin, if you can't see that, then I'm not going to help u. Show me where I said loan Curtis out, I'll wait.

Show me where I said sign homegrown, again I'll wait. Never said either. Bologna have wanted Barron, I have said that. Others, not me, have said he could be a make weight for LF.

19 Jun 2026 06:48:39
The fact that Raskin is in the Belgium squad and Barron couldn't make Scotland's kinda ends the argument, surely?

19 Jun 2026 07:16:24
Correct Rangers Da. ??

19 Jun 2026 08:24:53
Raskin playing alongside De Bruyne, while Barron's on his holidays, kind of tells you who's the better player, no?

I like young Barron, decent player, but Raskin is playing for Belgium at a World Cup. There is literally no comparison.

Raskin has been inconsistent for Rangers, but since he's been here he's had Beale, Clement, Barry, Martin, Rohl as managers.

Tell me any single player that would be able to have consistency with that much change.
We have always needed a whipping boy as Rangers fans, and it appears Raskin is now that. Wild.

19 Jun 2026 09:25:22
Wishy, for the team as a whole mate, McInnes might think it's better all round to sell Nico Raskin and bring in a proper no.6 in Elliot Watt and Cammy Devlin, i.e. better midfield balance possibly. ???

Rangers have had two unofficial offers for Watt turned down, and Motherwell are asking way too much for a guy in the last year of his contract.

Said many times here Watt not in a rush and looking at options south as his first choice, quite happy to see out his Motherwell deal.

This comes from a family member of Watt.

Personally I'd have another check in on Watt in January, new manager, Rangers and Motherwell, and he will be able to negotiate precontract, see if his standard still as high then or he sees Rangers as better option than offers south.

19 Jun 2026 13:01:41
More back chanelling seems to be the way most deals and offers are being made now so can said no official offer.
