Yes Ryan, Derek McInnes wants to bring in his own backroom he had at Hearts, ie. Alan Archibald and Paul Sheerin, etc, although Hearts don't want to lose Sheerin and rate him as a very good coach who could be under consideration to replace McInnes as the new Hearts head coach. ? Hearts do rate Paul Sheerin very highly. ?

Bbj, I agree. We saw how well last season went when we let a manager pick his own players. Not sure we will ever learn as a club if this is true.

I'm not convinced these deals were done in any way, and anything has been scrapped. A deal is not done till it's signed, and once it's signed, it takes 2 to scrap it.

Angus, we were told the club were becoming more modern and signings made wouldn't matter as we would have a club DNA and managers signed to suit this. Now this isn't happening, and can we say that McInnes will see Naderi as a Muller type player and use him correctly.
Club just seems to go from one disaster to another, bud.

If we've cancelled three transfers as a result of Rohl moving on and McInnes taking over, that is a terrible look on the club and its preparedness for the season ahead.

I may be wrong so don't quote me but wasn't it EHL that said there was a few out of contract players signed, one being a keeper, and these players would be announced come the expiration of their contract at their current clubs come June 30th?

Bbj, correct. Even if not signed, it seemed from what was said on here that they were agreed. But if we are pulling out of deals at last minute, then can any player we convince to sign for us in future trust the word of the club.
But then we also need to remember it is just a rumours page and nothing is getting out from the club. ?

I guess it all depends if you believe they were done. When were they scrapped? Last night, after McInnes agreed to terms and compensation was agreed? It would be silly to scrap them before hand in case Hearts played hard ball. I just can't believe that. Not accusing anyone of lying or misleading, but that's I don't find it believable. Just my opinion.

I'm not a McInnes fan, but I'd accept him more if I thought we, as a club, were sticking to our recruitment plans and he's fit into that process. I get a coach / manager will want input / oversight, etc., but surely to scrap planned recruitment so soon into the job does smack of the mistakes of last year with RM.

I'm told at least 2 out of 3 may be going to Salsburg. Talking to same, who says he believes Naderii will go to Salzburg. Time will tell.
We just need to get back room team in, as previously indicated Smith was returning to 19s, one of his German assistants was leaving and Fry allegedly wanted back to England.
Imo, Bibbo will probably leave. All this allows new man to develop his team.

Yeah Angus, any comment I make on these pages is always based off of what I see here, as I have no inside info etc etc and certainly not from the papers lol.
John, it would make sense that some of the team would be leaving, but I'm also concerned around the fact so many are wanting to leave, what is wrong with our club.
The players we sign 100% matter, John, as are they for McInnes or the club? If McInnes does get his signings, but then gets sacked, we are back in that position of having players the next manager doesn't want.
Seems we just go round the same circus yearly.
I would love Cerny to be one of those signings, John, but whatever happens it needs to be fast as window opens tomorrow and we have no confirmation of manager change and pre-season starts in just over a week.

I'm all for signing Scottish players but the net needs to be cast wider as well. There isn't that many Scottish players who improve the 11 within our finances. Ferguson will if done but we will see.
