Danny has told the club he would like to go to Salzburg.
Expect it to be completed this weekend as long as compensation can be agreed but don't expect club to stand in his way.
3rd managerial recruitment process now in 12 months for the new owners. For me, McInnes is the obvious candidate. Not sold on going back to Gerrard but would take him over the unknown.

The club accepted the approach, meaning it is they who have told Danny he is free to leave. Compensation will already have been agreed, because the club would not have accepted this approach if they were dissatisfied with the compensation on offer.
It will now be down to Danny and what he wants. If he is happy to move, he'll be discussing personal terms with his new club.

I'm simply telling you what 4lads have put out there on their Twitter feed, Storm. I believe Stevie Clifford runs that account, and he knows more than both of us do when it comes to these matters. The guy is a regular guest on the Rangers Review.

Also, I'm not "backing" anyone. I don't care if Rohl leaves, as long as there is an appropriate replacement waiting to come in. Only time will tell on that one.

Rohlwithcheese, a lot goes on behind the scenes. Players and managers get tapped up. I know this because I know a few of my own. Salzburg would have 100% put the feelers out to Rohl through a third party. It's what happens. Rangers would have known Rohl would have been open to moving on and being close to his family.
With Rohl having a mixed bag of a season last year, Rangers wouldn't stand in his way, especially when they can earn a good bit of money from this deal too. Just because Rohl said he didn't want to leave doesn't exactly mean that. Imagine he said he wanted to leave? Wouldn't happen.

4lads might be more reliable than most, but they aren't always right either. Rangersreview have back peddled a few times also. Don't get me wrong, I like the info they share, but some on here prove to be more accurate than even them.
Just because they attend pressers etc.
doesn't mean they are in the know. No one is leaking stories to them, so a lot of speculation still exists.
If it happens, it happens. I will wait until Rangers tell me before I get overly upset over yet another upheaval which is no good for anyone including players.

Salzburg reached out to Danny's party prior to an official approach to gauge interest. He didn't reject their advances.
Danny has confirmed to the club that he would like to pursue this opportunity, but has left it down to the clubs to agree on compensation.
Personal terms have already been agreed.

My star, my info and opinion. Yes, he could have ended circus by saying I'm not leaving Rangers. If he does not go now it will be same circus, distraction before Christmas.
