Moore rumour is rubbish. Started off on TikTok. If we sign him on loan, it will be at the end of the window, as Spurs want to give him pre-season.

There's a chance it could be tied up for pre-season on loan.

Totally agree, Ehl. Good defender, plays with intensity, always looking to pass forward, good in both boxes. Can be a little slack in positioning, but would certainly be a really good squad player.

Jack Hendry isn't even as good as John Souttar, and he's not good enough. It's ok saying sign Scottish players, but not just anybody 'cause they're Scottish. If wee want to win leagues, signing Jack Hendry certainly ain't going to do that.

Dougieboy, I have to disagree. We can't have 4 good center backs. Not many teams in Europe have that. There is an argument to be had that most teams only have 2 good ones. We need to build depth in our squad, & Jack Hendry would certainly offer that cover that we need. No one is saying he would be our starting cb, but he certainly wouldn't let us down. We need to start building a solid 7 / 10 squad for every position, nothing fancy, just honest hard working players.
Then you can add that little bit of magic in certain areas that are needed. We keep trying to bring in something special when the structure around these type of players isn't there. Look at the squads of old from any era, there are plenty of players who you look at & go he wasn't great but never let us down.

I rate Jack Hendry as a player, and he has extremely improved since he left Celtic. Young talented rb who can also cover cb.
I have also heard that Moore will return on loan, but not till the end of the transfer window, as Spurs coach wants to see him in pre-season matches before making a call.

The 'if we want to win leagues we need better' chat really doesn't make any sense to me.
Not every player we sign needs to be a starter. In fact, if anything, we need to get better at identifying the squad players with the right attributes and mentality to play their role.
I don't think any Rangers fan on earth would claim that Kirk Broadfoot was 'Rangers Class'.
Yet Walter Smith understood the value he brought to the squad, so much value that he was fully deserving of his three league winners' medals he earned by contributing to 50 games across those three seasons.
I honestly think a huge set of our fans have completely lost sight of who we are as a club.

I like and rate Hendry.
Not totally convinced I want him in, but I'm not against it, that's for sure.
