Baxter, his agent touted him a few weeks ago to play for Rangers or in England. I think he would come if it's offered to him. Also, many saying we won't spend that money on him. We spent 10m on Chermiti so we'll spend 10-14 on him. We have money now, many forget this.

Baxter, whilst at this time, I don't see it happening. His agent did come out and say if Rangers could fund the move they would be interested in going to Rangers or the EPL.

McMurdo said he had chatted to Ferguson and his two career goals were to play in EPL and for Rangers, so he reckoned he would at some point in his career play for us, but probably not this summer. He also mentioned it would all be down to money.
So, if he comes to us first, what are the chances of an EPL team buying him during a 3-4 year deal when he is 29-30? I read it that he would come to us after he had done EPL.

Just can't see L Ferguson signing for Rangers, especially with the transfer fee, and, realistically, we should be looking to bring in Watt (Motherwell).

Do you think that's likely? From a footballing pov, I think it's a no brainer and would be a great understudy to Rommens.
Not sure if we'll sign another Rep Irish player tbh, but maybe this one would be a bit easier as I think he plays for Ireland through heritage.
Think it must be interesting to see a foreign manager's response to when they want to sign someone from those shores.
