Good friend of mine back home in Scotland was telling me, Hearts are very interested in Tav, also Devlin could be heading to the chamber of secrets, and Rangers have inquired about Braga, he works at hearts, personally I take everything with a pinch of salt until it actually happens

23 May 2026 11:00:58
Think Tav would want out of Scotland, personally.
Devlin also linked to the us.
Would take Braga, but would be interesting to see the price they put on him. You see Bowie go for 7m, don't imagine Hearts accepting less than 5m.

23 May 2026 11:09:16
Would be very surprised if Tav took a 25kplus pay cut.

23 May 2026 11:09:23
Honestly, at his age and the money the Scottish club pays, he would be better off retiring. Football is harsh on your boy, no point pushing it for another year or 2, doing more damage for peanuts compared to what he was on.

23 May 2026 11:14:44
Rfc, he has stated he has four years left playing v.

23 May 2026 11:40:40
Tav would be better off moving to a club abroad, see out his final few years in the sunshine.

23 May 2026 11:51:51
I suspect Tav will move to League 1.

23 May 2026 12:20:01
I kind of hope Tav gets a big pay day in Saudi. Would be good for him.

Won't be surprised if he ends up at Norwich.

23 May 2026 13:18:46
Tav has offers from the West Coast in MLS and also the English Championship.

Wolves, front runners from that league.

Rangers think we are close to Penrice and will be looking to bring Shankland in this window.

23 May 2026 13:19:35
Never mind a pinch of salt, a cellar of salt would be nearer the amount needed to believe Tav would go to Hearts. From his point of view, they couldn't afford his wages, and from their point of view, if he's "done" at Rangers he would be "done" at Hearts, and there is no sell on.

The other two rumours could be true, but that one won't happen.

23 May 2026 13:23:44
Whats The Story, I absolutely think we'll sign James Penrice, mate, but doubt very much we're even interested in Lawrence Shankland, never mind signing him. ? What makes you think we're even interested in Shankland, mate, if you don't mind me asking. ?

23 May 2026 13:41:35
Norwich Dado?

After (allegedly) going behind Clement's back to the board and getting him sacked?

23 May 2026 13:47:13
Already posted that about Tav @whiteshark63, and it seems to be gathering legs, but who knows, just have to wait and see.

23 May 2026 13:55:09
I would absolutely take Shankland, but I highly doubt we would be after him.
Personally think that ship has long since sailed.

Tav to Norwich is a non starter after how Clement left Rangers.

23 May 2026 14:08:30
Shankland best striker in Scottish football.
And would only enhance our team.

Leader on the park.
Knows our league.
Experienced player.
What's not to like?

23 May 2026 14:24:51
Blue, Shankland can only dream about having Chermiti abilities.

23 May 2026 15:00:32
Mystar, needs more than just Chermiti abilities to win us a league, bud, wouldn't you say. ?

23 May 2026 15:05:31
Chermiti is just a far superior player to Shankland, Blue, let's see how many he scores in his next season in his second proper season.

23 May 2026 15:06:01
Would be surprised if Tav stays in Scotland, as he was offered a 1 year extension before he decided to leave us, so if he was staying he would have stayed at Rangers.

23 May 2026 15:06:24
Sir Walter,

Folk close to both parties are believing there's a big chance of Shankland coming.

Especially with the release clause.

23 May 2026 15:21:07
Lol the Rangers way pass up Shankland twice for nothing or practically nothing then pay a stupid fee when at peak price, mental, if true. Think we should just accept we missed that boat with the player's age now. A free made sense but not a big fee.

23 May 2026 15:21:33
Hope you are correct, Mystar, but that was not what I said. "We still need more than the ability of Big Chermiti to win us a title." ?

23 May 2026 15:46:32
What is the so-called fee in Shankland's "release clause"? Does anyone know?

23 May 2026 16:12:43
Tav has 100% got an offer to stay in Scotland. Hearts would be the obvious option for it.

23 May 2026 16:23:10
What's The Story, so what is Shankland's release clause and who close from both parties is saying it might be happening, mate? ?

23 May 2026 16:27:29
With Hearts now having Bloom at the helm. Wouldn't their budget for wages be a bit higher now? Isn't he the guy who owns Brighton and is a multi billionaire?

23 May 2026 17:39:22
How do things work out if Hearts fail to qualify for the UCL and drop into the UEL? Both Hearts and Brighton could be in the same competition. Surely there are Two Club Ownership implications.

23 May 2026 17:44:49
Jasper, Bloom has kept himself right, not got enough control of Hearts.

23 May 2026 18:03:12
Thanks MyStar, I wasn't sure.

23 May 2026 18:06:33
Here's hoping, WhatsTheStory. I'd argue someone of Shanklands proved quality and experience is the difference between a title in some of the races we've been in - defos under Clement.

I'd love to see him in our colours. Gives us a massive boost and the way he plays could give us a solid few years of goals. Good info - keep them coming.

23 May 2026 18:48:08
I am sure I read Braga was heading to Brighton for £8m.

23 May 2026 19:53:16
Just watching Oli McBurnie grabbing the winning goal in the English Premier Play-Off.
I guess any chance of getting him now, If we wanted him, would be zero.

Just another player who I'd have at Ibrox in a heartbeat.

23 May 2026 20:39:09
Albertz, read that also. Brighton looks like the obvious destination for Braga given how much Tony Bloom watched Hearts this season (was never away from the place). He's seen enough of him to know his qualities. Crystal Palace also interested. Got a sneaky suspicion Cammy Devlin will leave Scotland altogether for pastures new.

Regarding Tav, I really can't see him lining up against us with another team in Scotland, EHL reckons League 1, so I suspect he's heard something. Maybe Bradford City, his home town club.

23 May 2026 20:40:29
As far as attacking is concerned, Shankland will get there as soon as he can. Let's just stop that. We could have got him for nuthin and certainly won't be paying for him now. He's better off staying with Man Eh FC

Big Ollie, a winner today again and now Premier League man, ugly, arrogant and aggressive. We haven't seen much of that for a while.
