I had to Google Matondo to make sure we were talking about the same player. I can honestly say I've not read comments like 'really rate him or a very good footballer' to describe him before, although that comment is in no way designed to diminish others' opinion, which I enjoy reading.
My opinion is he's a headless chicken who doesn't know what to do when he gets the ball.
His speed got him transfers, but there's no point having that speed if you don't know what to do with the ball. Perhaps he'll be better when teams aren't defending deep with a low block.
I wish him well, but I'm ecstatic to see the back of him.

Regardless of his playing ability, keep hearing about his positive impact on the squad and seems to be a well liked individual amongst the playing staff and coaches. Didn't work out with us but wish him well for the future.

Matondo has more than speed in his game. His problem is he was constantly injured, but you never know if he goes injury free. Space in behind he's got the pace and finish for putting them away. Wish him the best of luck and hopefully his injuries are at the back of him.
