Building repairs
So been told we are looking about 18k worth of damage to Ibrox on the back of the Old Firm game.
Normally in these instances both clubs will come to an agreement however this has caused delays for some of the work that was being carried out. Not to do with money but time between fixtures.
As i say before I only hear about stadium demands, building, future planning for things like fan zones.
What i did hear is Rangers are extremely unhappy with the police and that there was no protection of the football stewards. It's caused staff members some severe stress and that there was multiple failings.

Judging by the seats and the graffiti, I thought it'd be more tbh, bud.

Seen someone say the Broomloan may not be available for Aberdeen game. 18k isn't a lot but Celtic will foot the whole bill.

I expected it to be about 60k or more, tbh.
The police have a lot to answer for, and the woman in charge deserves to be reprimanded and demoted in some capacity.
She should never police an event again.
It could have been so much worse if any of the fans actually had a set of bal** and wanted to fight each other instead of the embarrassment they made of themselves.

Surprised it's not more. Seen photos outside Broomloan Stand, with a wall damaged and the blue gates damaged as well, on top of all the inside damage. Suppose some of it is cosmetic, paint job etc., but still despicable behaviour and hope they find the culprits and charge them. I saw they have a photo of someone writing on one of the walls.

You're looking at about £500 a seat nowadays, however we have spare. It's more about the labour of removing and adding the replacements.
Toilets are the main issue.
Painting walls and graffiti come under maintenance, so barely costs anything.
Broomloan door is broken, and construction of a wall at the gate.
The quote I heard was 18k.
I am raging for 2 reasons.
1. What has happened to Broomloan Stand.
2. Some really nice work was to be carried out between now and the end of the season, now delayed.
- Painting of pillars
- Spray of seats
- More Rangers emblems painted on brick work
- Jet blasting of certain areas of stadium.
All delayed because of the unwashed.

I can assure you, no areas will be closed for the Aberdeen game.

£18k. It costs £400 a day for a plumber, and every toilet in the Broomloan Stand is wrecked. Never mind £300 for a broken seat???
10 Mar 2026 21:03:52
I don't mean to be rude, but do you think Rangers go to the Yellow Pages for plumbers?
Rangers, like most companies, have agreements in place. Think of an office with CBRE as an example.
A lot of the damage that has happened comes under maintenance.
Everyone is entitled to their thoughts, btw. I just feel some think domestic and business contracts are the same pricing.

I thought they flamethrowered seats, Watp891, to get the colour back?
10 Mar 2026 22:12:54
According to reports, over 200 grands worth of damage.
11 Mar 2026 06:38:25
I wouldn't be expecting payment in a quick fashion; they're still paying their 'other' compensation just now.
11 Mar 2026 07:15:29
Yes Dado, but that doesn't even come to 1 mill. They have about 70 mill in the bank.
11 Mar 2026 08:34:39
Guys, it's very simple we deduct it from the million we owe from game receipts.
11 Mar 2026 09:44:20
No fork that was to kill the bacteria on the seats after the gremlins have been sitting on them.
11 Mar 2026 09:45:52
The problem we have is, and it's a big if, if we are allowed in at Parkhead for the final fixture, then the damage will be reciprocated, then it's just continual.
11 Mar 2026 10:21:32
Lol nice Market Garden. ??
11 Mar 2026 10:22:54
Away fans should be banned in future. They neither know how to behave.

100% John. ?
11 Mar 2026 17:48:11
John, that's the way I'd prefer it, mate. Saves any more hassle.
12 Mar 2026 12:24:20
Correct on both points, John. ?
