I think the Chermiti experiment has to end. He's hopeless. I can't imagine that most Rangers fans didn't have their heads in their hands when they saw him leading the line himself. Showing up in 2 games doesn't make him a Rangers striker. He's not good enough to even be the third-choice striker, let alone the first.

Chermiti has had far more than two good games. I think you must mean a couple of outstanding games, Marko: two games against Hearts, four goals; two games against Celtic, two goals. Cool, you see nothing, but some do.

Sorry, are you saying he was brilliant against Hearts in the game we got beat? You're having a laugh. ? Do you really believe we can win the league with a big useless lump up front that's scored in 4 games all season? Look at the stats. Rangers had played something like 19 competitive games before he scored, and he then took another 10-12 to score again.
After he scored against Celtic, it was something like 12-13 before he scored against Hearts. He offers nothing. You're absolutely kidding yourself if you think he will ever be the long term solution.

Also, he's played against Hearts 3 times this season, and great he scored a hat trick, but he didn't show up in the other 2, unless you count a goal in the 96 min that mattered not a jot.
We've also played Celtic 3 times, but I'm not sure if he played all 3. I'd love to be proven wrong about Chermiti, but I won't be because he's hopeless.

I think when Naderi gets fully fit, and gets to know the team more, it will benefit Chermiti big time. I hope he gets pelters running up to Sunday's game, as he will probably have a great game.
Not his no1 fan, but he has something and is still young, and would have been given more time by some if we had one striker banging them in week in, week out, so not the same pressure on him.

re Chermiti's games, assuming that 7 is a good score both Hearts games where he scored, Celtic, St Mirren 2-1 win ; Kilmarnock 3-1 win; Ludogorets game. in most games before Rohl he was a sub and difficult to influence games when only getting a few minutes.

If it is coldo he is right about one thing anyone that doesn't rate Chermiti all mysta says is that tells me everything about you now that is just embarrassing because he had said Rothwell was a player and he wasn't and I could list a lot more players that have came and failed that he said was a player so does that tell us everything about what you know? Storm, you can have an opinion but I agree it can be difficult at times to take some of the grief being given for holding that opinion. Sometimes though it is just the way we all write things, and I don't think there is ever, or rarely, any real malice in it, especially from the regulars.
Re subs, I was talking about the player ratings they got and using 7/10 as being decent. As a sub, they have little time to actually increase their player ratings. I wasn't aware, but they start at a base of 6.0, so unless they come on and get a goal or an assist, it is difficult to boost that significantly.
For Chermiti, he was often coming on for less than 20 minutes as the lone target man for a team that struggled to create chances. Once he was starting, those stats averages have increased, and I think his general play has improved, if not his goal scoring.
I think he does a lot well, but has a lot to improve on. You and others disagree, and only time will tell. He can do it on occasion, so we need to find a way for him to do it more often, and then we will all be happy(ier).
