Rangers watching Luke Graham
14 Feb 2026 16:52:52
I know nothing of this boy. Have you watched him, John? Worth a punt?
14 Feb 2026 17:01:20
Def has potential. Could be a good player.
14 Feb 2026 17:13:54
Do I think he has great potential? They knocked back 800k from Portsmouth in January.
14 Feb 2026 17:34:25
Celtic looking as well.
14 Feb 2026 19:23:32
We've been monitoring him for a while.
Personally, I would rather he didn't join us.
14 Feb 2026 19:27:29
Thought he showed up well against us at Ibrox.
14 Feb 2026 19:35:41
I like him. Solid player who went on loan as low as the Midlands League and worked his way up the system. He was scouted by Arsenal.
Left-footed as well, always in high demand.
14 Feb 2026 19:54:03
Very good for Falkirk last season.
14 Feb 2026 21:03:30
Why not EHL? So far, I've been very impressed by him, albeit he still has a lot to learn. I think he has potential to be a Scottish international CB.
14 Feb 2026 21:16:15
Why's that? Is EHL not good enough, or a bad move for the player?
15 Feb 2026 01:15:36
I think EHL maybe means he isn't in the sense for Scotland, and for the boy he'd be better going elsewhere.
15 Feb 2026 01:31:09
Looked him up, with people saying potential. He's 22. Yes, I know potential may come later, but I can't say I've personally heard of him. I'd rather keep that money and spend it on a player with real potential.
15 Feb 2026 08:09:40
A decent player he is. I'm with EHL, I don't think his ceiling is high enough to sign for us. I had the same concern over Cameron. I'm just not sure we'd be able to develop him to being powerful enough to be a long-standing Rangers centre half.
15 Feb 2026 08:21:07
Davie, because u have not heard of him, Rangers should not sign him. Thanks for the laugh.
15 Feb 2026 10:09:16
My money is on him being a Celtic player.
15 Feb 2026 11:39:55
I think he still has a lot of development to do, and I don't think Rangers is the place for him at his age - maybe if he were a couple of years younger.
Also, I think the areas that he needs to develop are the areas that would be exposed more with the style and demands at Rangers.
He's the type of player I'd love to see stay in the league, at Hearts, Hibs, or Aberdeen, or to go abroad and raise the reputation of our game.
Unfortunately, he'll probably end up in the Championship or League 1. In fact, he's very similar to Liam Lindsay, who's carved a very good career out for himself down south.
15 Feb 2026 12:44:56
Can you be more specific, EHL? He's technically very good with both feet, although favours his left, and is absolutely enormous. Is it a pace issue, which was the case with Lindsay? For me, he's the type of player Rangers should be going for.
I don't see many 22-year-old centre-halves who don't need to develop more. If we had signed him at a younger age, it is almost guaranteed he wouldn't be as good as he is now. I can see some merit in waiting, but he won't be available after this summer.
15 Feb 2026 13:38:30
Blue Hue, he's only 6ft. I'm 6ft, so I know it's tall, but in football terms for a ch it's not.
15 Feb 2026 14:03:15
Of course, BlueHue, obviously just my opinion.
He's naturally not the quickest, so is more suited to a team that defends deep as opposed to a team that plays a high line.
If you look at his stats, or watch his games, he is outstanding in the air and also at reading the game (I think he was leading the way on interceptions at one point) - which again suits a team that sits deep. However, he's not particularly great in the tackle, especially recovery tackles, which would be a concern if asked to play a high line.
In terms of on the ball, his passing is great, but he does rely on his long-distance passing more. However, he's not particularly comfortable carrying the ball, and when given time, his decision-making is a little questionable (which is where most of his bookings come from).
Lastly, I don't think he's massive. I have seen him for a while, but from recollection he's actually quite small for a centre half. I'd guess around 6 ft 1 or 2?
