Beside Rak-Sakyi, which I can understand Crystal Palace not wanting to part with yet another player I feel we still need to strengthen the LB and RB positions. We need an experienced LB in, not a loan and we still need to replace Tav.

Rangers had a 10 million pounds bid for him rejected in July. There was no follow up after that. They may try again in January but any talk of late negotiations in the last week are simply not true.

This was the one I was led to believe that we were still trying to get late on. Everything on the player side was verbally agreed if they could get the go ahead from Crystal Palace.
There was a lot of other scenarios playing out at Palace that obviously took priority.
Guehi's move to Liverpool fell through
Igor's move to Palace fell through
Glasner suggesting he would resign if Guehi was sold with no replacement.
Not suggesting these had a direct impact on the Rak Sakyi deal but there was more pressing events playing out.
