Looks like we can go to bed folks.

01 Sep 2025 22:56:43
Looks like it.
Very good window.
Unfortunately, our worst signing has been Martin.

01 Sep 2025 23:00:14
Guess that's a wrap. Very happy in adding Miovski and Cornelius ?? wish we would have offloaded a few more non-performers in Matondo, King and maybe young Rice for first team mins elsewhere. Definitely not a RM fan but it's up to him and his tactics to get the most out of this group.

01 Sep 2025 23:57:38
No bad and with sellic signing somebody that looks like he's out the Charlie Chaplin films and no striker it gets better.

02 Sep 2025 07:34:57
I still can't believe King is still at the club. He had the opportunity to leave to play games and develop and he didn't take it. He might be on a very good contract now, but potentially he could be on an even better if he played games and developed. That's a strange one. He'll go from a good contract, to a big wage cut, and because of the wasted years, may never reach the potential he still has to be a solid professional.

An absolute waste for Bailey Rice aswell. Soon to be 19, so he has to play.

02 Sep 2025 10:23:22
I take it we didn't get McLean or Devlin. Seen John claiming both were signing? He's usually accurate no?

02 Sep 2025 10:48:36
Barry that is nothing more than nonsense, but if it makes you happy fire in.

02 Sep 2025 10:55:03
Think Devlin was a red herring that got fed to John and looks like Norwich couldn't get a replacement in time for McLean.

02 Sep 2025 10:57:14
First post pal a bit cynical, don't think hs said definite signings.

02 Sep 2025 11:23:40
He never claimed they were signing at all.

02 Sep 2025 11:45:41
With Celtic signing no one worthwhile and Brendan in a huff, let's be confident .

He nearly signed a lump for free who couldn't hit a buffalo on the bum with a banjo . so aye let's see how it goes eh?

02 Sep 2025 11:55:57
Barry, these signings were to cover out goings, i.e Barron, Dowell, rice etc.

02 Sep 2025 12:16:39
It's a rumours site Barry!
John posts what he hears and many are thankful for his information as he gets the majority correct, but as I said it's a rumours site and not everything the in the know guys like John, ehl and asa comes to fruition.
People post the rumours they hear .

02 Sep 2025 12:19:36
The good news is that Matondo can still go to Turkey if the offer is still there.
Not sure but maybe King and Rice can still go out on loan in Scotland just to play .
It might be a good idea to reintegrate Nsiala into the squad as left back cover, he has played there, he is quick and although not a natural attacker can cross a good ball.

02 Sep 2025 13:35:09
Think Nsiala will still go to Kiev, their window open for another few days. wouldn't be surprised if some of the fringe guys like Matondo, King etc still move on or might have contracts terminated so they can go on Bosmans.

02 Sep 2025 13:49:31
Barry great, he never claimed any were signing, learn to read.

02 Sep 2025 13:52:32
Wsl I wonder if rice and king r backup for Europa, apparently rice did not sign extension.

02 Sep 2025 14:18:06
6 defenders potentially not here next season, players signed to leave in December for afcon, 1 start worthy rw, 1 start worthy 6, 1 natural left back.

A really poorly managed window.

02 Sep 2025 14:53:29
John is a great poster on here always like his input keep it up John and ignore those that are only jealous of having to hear 2nd hand info. You've made the window interesting with your top info.

02 Sep 2025 15:38:16
Might be wrong, but King can still get loaned out to Raith as part of the partnership. Sure I seen someone say the club was looking at this as an option.

02 Sep 2025 16:31:58
By "players signed to leave in December for afcon, do you just mean djiga?

in the squad we've got like 2 people that will be going to afcon idk how that means it's been a poor window.

02 Sep 2025 18:54:49
Huey, I don't think Nsiala fancies moving to Ukraine and who can blame him .
As for guys like Matondo and King releasing them now would still not allow them to sign for any clubs in a country that has a closed transfer window .
They could still go to Turkey which is a possibility for Matondo.

02 Sep 2025 18:59:08
8m for that striker from Everton is terrible business! Let hamza go who was technically very talented and scored goals, sold him for 10, he cost us a mil and bought a boy from Everton who hasn't proved anything as of yet! Stupid gamble!

02 Sep 2025 19:19:36
A bit disappointed with the quality of players we have recruited in the window. None stand out to be better than the players we have shipped out.
Also the £20million 'investment' that was supposed to be made available for transfers…. We have spent £32.5m and brought in £25m in player sales = £7m delta. So £13m shortfall on what could have been spent securing Cerny or bringing back Sima or getting a proven striker/ CB.

{Ed001's Note - Cerny and Sima had no interest in returning to Rangers.}

02 Sep 2025 21:23:20
Exactly this fascination with Cerny is becoming boring, he came to Rangers to put himself in the shop window, he had no intention of signing long term.

02 Sep 2025 22:32:56
Ed i think the point people are making is the quality level and previous for to base a move on chermiti has nothing to back up justification of that price tag. yet.

03 Sep 2025 06:06:52
Blueblood what i said in previous post they were only made to promised to spend 20 million they had no promises over what they could sell.

Said this as soon as 20m clause wasade know and to be fair that is exactly how we should be doing it with transfers although i agree in principle i think they let hamza go far to cheap and don't buy for one minute hza had an escape clause . also don't agree with huge fee for chermiti but it also goes to show how badly we undersold hamza who showed lots of skill scoeed goals in europe and in domestic football olympiakos young striker 9 goals in 22 zero goals in europe goes to brighton for 35million.

Sorry i know people don't like it but sometimes we are stupid in transfer window

This year i think is 50/ 50 some good sone bad buy could tip in good direction depending on how certain players do.

Regardless i don't see the chermiti deal any other way than thelwell doing everton a favour

Tell me how we get money nack on chermiti because right now we have a belgian international playing alonside some top talent and we are banding uabout figures like 13 million

We couldn't even get fee for morelos or kent when we were flying only way this biy represents value for me is if he does the buisiness and stays at club for years.

Aide note none of above is the biys fault and will judge him purley on playing merit.

03 Sep 2025 07:04:21
Morning folks i also agree the 8-10m deal for Chermiti is a VERY expensive gamble we could definitely have gotten something more appealing/ proven for less not sure how that deal even came about as an option which worries me the most. definitely think letting Koppen go was a mistake. Overall happy with most signings except Rothwell, Djiga and Aarons and i just hope from now over the course of season we identify specific defender signings and get them asap as amount of loans there is scary.

03 Sep 2025 07:12:27
Rothwell not the player he was last year, seems out of shape, djiga needs a rocket up his archie, too laid back, Moore? Curtis is better.

03 Sep 2025 09:23:32
First few games i was really impressed with Djiga.

03 Sep 2025 16:51:37
My star, I was as well, but he now looks scared.

04 Sep 2025 00:00:57
I think all fans were John and Mystar but he looks like a complete scare now.

04 Sep 2025 11:31:44
I would have given whatever De Jong asked for, would have at least tried to make a deal . But of course Thelwell sees things Everton and Davie Moyes can't, so that's good is it no?
