Good result eventually even if it was a frustrating evening overall.
Very strange kick off time tomorrow for a Saturday match away to Dundee.
I would look to freshen the team up slightly and think that it would be prudent to move to a 4-3-3 set up.
Dundee will set up hard to beat and we need to first win the midfield battle.
No one deserves to drop out but I just feel that the current 2 man midfield set up may be ineffective for the most part tomorrow.

Reggie , you want us to change to 4 midfielders and 2 forwards? So you want us to sit in and hit on the break. Its Dundee we're playing not some European away fixture. Not saying McInnes shouldn't make a tactical tweak if he thinks it will help us in this specific game but if we are genuinely that worried about playing Dundee then we obviously don't have the players to win the league .We should give them respect but be confident of beating them.

Thanks Fork 🔱 yes it took a while to regroup after the dismissal but certainly you are correct the Lincoln dismissal helped massively.
Not the greatest of performances but in Europe the 3 points is vital and the victory was achieved.

Agree with star, don't change a winning team, it's not like were playing constantly, players needing rest, these guys are still getting used to each other, barring injuries etc it stays the same, quite sure the gaffer will be thinking the same.

100% wouldn't be changing systems for the sake of it we have won 7 games on the trot. Maybe 1 or 2 personal changes. McInnes isn't going to change anyway so pointless even discussing it.

Yes we are winning but to win the league we need to have more than 1 winning formula.
It is a lose lose for a manager.
If he doesn't freshen up and we drop points people will say we should rotate.
If he rotates and we lose points people will say he should keep the same.
I just find it hypocritical to say that player A or player B need minutes and a chance in the team but as soon as it is suggested the same people say we should not change.
It is a squad game and we should use the squad the best way possible.
What i have done is give my honest opinion that going with the same format may be less effective tomorrow than it was in previous games.
Kilmarnock provided a blue print in the second half and we need to show that we are an adaptable team.
