If we keep the form we showed pre international break up with no major injuries until January transfer window and joint top of the league, do we only replace if we sell like for like positional wise or do we strengthen.
If we strengthen what position would you like and without selling having a big squad without European football would that cause issues.

A creative central mf player ( JHD- loan with option) and a striker with experience like Defoe on loan
I don't see a lot of areas needing addressed as it stands.
If we lost manny or makhanya we'd be in trouble so maybe an older CB with British football experience as I only see 3 cb's and one is not proven to be availible regularly, I'd say all loans though if we can manage.

Think we are getting ahead of ourselves, we have beaten them twice, but let's not forget performance before that, plus fact they were terrible
Lets see how next few games pan out before we think we are in position to challenge
I think we are going in right direction but only time will tell, easy to raise your game against them, but need to do same against rest.

6 wins in a row Jasp, 5 clean sheets, only goal against was an og, very important part, not many Celtic players are getting near this Rangers side.
On transfers, I can't see many if any, unless a wide player gets injured, but have Yokota back before then, we have a very good squad now, we also have some defence for a club in our league.
Unless players leave i can't see it.
After saying that could be doing with another cb.

Two wins in a row vs Celtic are good and rare but agreed Jasp - it is good where we are in the moment but let's temper the enthusiasm as we well know how this story has panned out over the years - I too am enjoying the moment but know that the points dropped in past against so called " minnows" are games that have cost us - let's see where we are come Christmas🤔 - but the bar and precedent have been set, its up to Del to ensure these standards are met in EVERY game as we well know the pendulum can switch in a blink of an eye and let's be honest we are still chasing the team at top of league the last time I looked🤔.

Don't think we need anything unless anyone leaves. Possibly a central attacking midfielder to compete with MinSu. Or a CB as we only have 3 proper ones but think we're well enough covered.

Talking about performances as if we have lost games. Fact check, winning ugly still counts and gets us the 3 points. For as many years as I can remember, winning games when not playing well has always been seen as a marker for successful teams.

EHL - Fully aware of the record in last 9 games but tempering the gung ho attitude of many that feel we are fully back after 2 OF games when we have seen this video before🤔 - Del's recent record is excellent and I am extremely happy in this moment like us all but common-sense and pragmatism should prevail or should we just happy clap that we are second in league but have beaten them twice but thrown out of Europe twice -I hope and pray that we are indeed on the ascendancy and heading in right direction but time will tell -sustained consistency and trophies will be key. 👍 Hopefully that will indeed be the case 🙏.

Like many of us, I am firmly in the cautiously optimistic stage for now. We are playing well and beginning to look like a team that has belief.
There is a long way to go, and we need to consolidate our position against the so-called lesser teams.
I must say it has been a while since I felt we are making sustainable progress.
The squad looks strong, in all departments, I don't expect many new faces in January, barring injuries or exits.
Nice to think we won't be scrambling around for players come January.

If we look at some of the games prior to the 2 Celtic games, Aberdeen was a kick fest very little football played, St Mirren we very lucky not to concede penalty, squad still think we need a RB as don't think McCrorie the answer
Be very surprised if big Manny was sold in january as not sure who would come in for as untried at higher level and still gives the fear sometime when defending do think makhanya will prove to be an excellent buy like most keep a lid on things big performance against killie required.

For me, what we have right now is as good a squad of players as we've had for a very long time. I'm a firm believer that the most successful Rangers sides have, in my lifetime, been built around a solid defence. Right now that's what we have. There is nobody in Scotland that I'd swap in for any of those that kicked off against the Eastenders - 1 goal conceded in 6 I think, and even that was an OG.
Yeah we were all over the place at the start of the season, it was even difficult at times to fathom what system Del was playing, and sometimes it looked like players were being asked to perform roles that maybe were alien to them. I do believe though that the manager was merely trying to assess who could fill a particular role and do the job he wanted, hence all the chopping and changing.
Me personally I always thought of a midfield duo as being made up of someone who wins the ball, breaks up the opposition's play, and then gives it to the guy that creates going forward. Right now I think both Neil and Raskin can actually do all of the aforementioned as and when required.
Up front we were hit with injuries to both Shankland and Chermiti and all of a sudden it was like "Who'll fill those roles? " Step forward Kelsy and Naderi. Again 2 players who can easily switch roles and thankfully look like they can run all day.
Gassama, Curtis, Min-su all have that wee sprinkling of magic in their boots that has fans out their seats when on their game, too.
I actually thought we might have seen Naderi not come back out for the 2nd half in the last OF game due to possible issues with his ankle from the weekend before, but out he came. Remember Pandur's save from Donovan? Was the big fella that finally cleared the ball. And there he was right at the death trailing two of them into the corner flag just seconds before the final whistle blew.
Derek has a system he wants to play, all that has happened is he now has the personnel to do so. I believe the team style (mainly 442) during 9-in-a-row under Souness/Sir Walter is the blueprint that our present manager is looking to emulate for himself, and I have every confidence he will do so given time and that bit of luck needed re injuries etc.

If nobody leaves and there are no more major injuries the two obvious positions we might look at are, a bit more cover at centre back just because we look one short of having good cover there and I would love to see a more attacking, goal scoring midfielder something we haven't really had since Scott Arfield left.
Someone who will take some shots on, get into the box and add some goals from that area. The only non striker to score in the league this season so far is Aasgaard (useless you count Nedeljkovic).

Come January we might have to replace, strengthen or both, especially if Raskin goes, although I still have high hopes for Drago. As for form and what the future holds, if after 38 games we are still top of the league, you will hear me roar in Australia, but right now it's a nice round of applause.

Boy blue have attended games over 70 yers and I have never entered a season not thinking we can win silver.
