From the BBC, and to back up John's post on provisional numbers according to the rules.
The Scottish Professional Football League Cup Competition Regulations - and section 11, Admission Arrangements for Visiting Clubs and clubs.
11.1 The Home Club shall forward to the Visiting Club 'without charge' tickets, in the numbers set out below, so that they will be in the hands of the Visiting Club on or before the fifth day before the Match (unless under circumstances which render this impracticable) - 10 for Directors' Box, 40 for the Stand."
11.2 No Official or Player of the Visiting Club shall be entitled to enter the Home Club's Ground without a ticket.

Give them 0 tickets.

A pal sent me that last night, I think 50 is more than enough for them. Be interesting to see how many strings they pull to try for more.
18 Aug 2026 08:30:41
Still too many keep them Out.
18 Aug 2026 08:40:37
I agree. No away fans at either game until they learn to behave.
18 Aug 2026 08:41:10
Eck. So, u would give them zero, so you're saying we don't let players, manager, coaches etc in.
So no game then.
18 Aug 2026 08:51:58
Aye, John, that's exactly what he's saying mate. 😂
18 Aug 2026 09:08:57
They'll never behave, not when both sides have neanderthals in their fanbase.
18 Aug 2026 09:37:54
50 is too much. Infact, one is too much for them, so keep them out!
Honestly, is there any Rangers supporter on here who wants them in our stadium? Oh, and this works both ways with us not being allowed to enter their stadium - there is large elements of both sides that can't be trusted. It's bad enough hearing one lot spew out sectarian bile without getting it in stereo.
18 Aug 2026 09:38:01
Not even that they won't behave
Its that the still see themselves as the victims.
Like, "how dare Rangers stop our fans from entering the stadium and vandalizing and destroying the place and invading their pitch?? "
Celtic still have paid for the damages i believe.
These animals will never learn, its a mentality thing with that lot.
Never mind outright supporting terrorists and waving flags of foreign countries, no Celtic fans should be allowed at any ground. Disgrace.
18 Aug 2026 09:54:44
John, players, coaches etc who are part of the match day squad dnt need tickets, surely u know this.
18 Aug 2026 11:13:39
I really wish we'd stop blaming others. We're as bad as each other.
When I say we, I just mean the bigots, sectarians, haters amongst us. I don't mean us all.
18 Aug 2026 11:16:41
8Gazza, argue with the organisers' rules then, as that's what's been stated above. They may not require them out of courtesy, but that's the rules of the competition.
18 Aug 2026 12:28:01
Ally Mc62, you mean similar to the Rangers fan waving an Israel flag inside Ibrox last week? Should our fans not be allowed at any game because of him? It's actually embarrassing how people like you make out this is all one-sided.
Yeah, ss, I'd let them in, as I like to go to Parkhead in the return fixtures, like I always do.
We always talk about how the Old Firm is a huge game worldwide. Having one set of fans is fecking embarrassing, totally takes away from the atmosphere. It just needs to be policed properly.
18 Aug 2026 13:04:12
Policed properly, you could get any amount of them in, do a want them full broomland No, as for the bigots, sectarian and haters in both supports, Gazza, you do realise there would be two men and a dog watching when it comes to the 90 mins of an Old Firm game if they were not there, the game is what it is, Hate, and for 90 mins family, best mates, lawyers, doctors etc despise the other side and both clubs will use this when it suits them to make money as well.
18 Aug 2026 16:01:21
Gazza, go read 11.2. As also printed above. Very clear player etc requires a ticket.
