Watched the game back a couple of times today.
Jesus what's wrong with Michael Stewart. I tend to ignore him but he was all About St Mirren giving credit for their play and forcing Gers to play long and making us look like the visiting team. Very little credit given to Gers.
He really does seem to not like us.

Said the same, Broste, and picked up on every Fernandez mishap or not closing down quickly. Knows fans have a thing about him at moment, so was just trying to be relevant. Always know when we do something right, as him and McFadyean always drop out if saying anything on the commentary.

Guy is a total bell. Noticed him doing this every game he commentates on us, but he's not the only one. Tried to say St Mirren could've had 4 or 5 by halftime, even though they only had 3 on target the full match.
🤷 St Mirren's goal was a cracker, no denying that, but Dragojevic's was a worldie! Easily a goal of the season contender already, but according to both commentators they were of equal quality. 😅

And why Stewart wins because there are always fans willing to back what he says. Fernandes is suffering a poor run of form, but two weeks ago he was worth £20M supposedly on here and he will come good again; possibly quicker if he gets support from the stands.
Most of the criticism isn't even original, it is just a repeat of Stewart saying he doesn't look interested.

Angus, who said this 2 weeks ago? Fernadez is exactly the same player as last season. He slows the play down as much as he can to kill any sort of tempo we have. He loses the ball high up the park, and it's a slow jog back into position.
We conceded a goal last season at Ibrox when we lost the ball on the edge of the other box when attacking. And he could barely be arsed getting back to cover. We've lost goals this season already from it. Folk quoting 20mill are in dreamland.

Fernadez is struggling there for all to see. Just needs a bit of experience beside him. He's also switched sides, so I'm giving him the benefit. If he gets his act together he'll be some player.

Stewart is an absolute throbber, but any criticism of the boy isn't down to him, it's down to us supporters having eyes and seeing what's right in front of us.

The lad looks like his head's in the clouds for whatever reason, he should be dropped, but can't be, so that won't help him either, but I personally feel he bought into his own hype and thought he was getting a big move which hasn't happened, and he just switched whatever lights he had on to off.

Angus, I have my own eyes I watch the games with and I was at the game so I didn't hear that bellend commentating but I don't need him to tell me Fernandez doesn't look interested at the moment.
I know you don't like sticking the boot into players and that's fine but people can have their own opinions, don't diminish them by saying we are copying a Rangers hater.

There was a period where the big man was strolling it, because of his casual demeanor it looked great. Now he's hit a bad patch, that same demeanor is making it look so much worse. He absolutely needs experience beside him imo.
I know he's having a shocker and agree with the majority, but I also keep reminding myself he's only had one season in a top flight league, so he's got loads to learn. I still have faith he could become a good cb.

Bb4, I'm hoping if he's still here once window shuts he knuckles down. Players are human, so if there is interest from big teams it's likely his head will turn. I just wish Godfrey was fit so he could be taken out of the firing line as he's detrimental to the team just now.
