What's the feeling guys is Penrice going to do a job for us, I'll be honest I didn't particularly watch him for Hearts 2 seasons ago, we can't afford another journeyman

Tattie, I hope not. Tuur has had one and a half good games since his arrival, not sold on him yet tbh. Personally think Prnrice will turn out a good solid signing.

I predict Penrice will be the 1st choice left back. He is simply a better player than Rommens. Oh, for the days when we could only play 3 foreigners, we more than got by with 8 Scots in the first Champions League. Consider the Scottish teams that have won a European trophy. How many had foreign players in the team?

I'm the same, Boyblue. I think Rommens has been very poor so far, apart from a couple of games at the start. So frustrating when he keeps giving away possession. I liked Penrice at Hearts and would like to see him do well for us.

Penrice will be good for us and will provide genuine competition for Rommens. LB position looks sorted, let's get a RB and LCB to sort out our defence and start keeping sheets!

Sir Walt, I agree it is a different era, but in sport an era can happen to you or you can make an era yours, and that 92/93 team almost did. I think we need more Scots in the team, but only if they are good enough. I think Josh Mulligan at Hibs is (an Ian Ferguson of this era).
I think Jack Hendry, with the right coaching, would fit. Lewis Ferguson, Billy Gilmour, Robbie Ure. I know some will say no chance of getting them because of x y and z, but you have got to ask. We would still need another 2 players minimum that would arrive at any on pitch fight within seconds.
