Going to try and ignore the all too obvious negatives. Only saw highlights but how good is wee Curtis? And how good could he be? Kids a joy to watch with a cracking spirit wish others had.

Made a huge improvement when he came on, as did Raskin and Devlin. He probably needs a run of games to improve his consistency. He was very unlucky at the end. Great head from Shankland as well.

Raskin left, Yokota right should the way forward.

All 3 must start again, Hibs on Sunday.

I'll probably get slaughtered for suggesting this but I'd try McCrorie at RCB with Sterling at RB instead of the other way round. 🤷 Drop Fernandez (maybe it'll give him the kick up the arse he needs) and play Makhanya.
Saw some people slating Rommens on here and other forums but I actually thought he was one of our better performers last night. Wouldn't have got the goal if not for him.

Curtis was very impressive last night. He and Raskin looked like the only two on the pitch with the confidence and drive to go and make a difference. The rest of them look as if their confidence is totally gone, heads down, finger pointing, etc. It's a major concern how demotivated that team of players looks - it's like they don't believe in what they're doing.
Curtis was running at defenders. He was going inside and outside. He put in dangerous crosses, hit the post, and nearly scored another important goal in a European qualifier for Rangers.
Don't forget, this time last season he was doing the business for us as well with 3 early goals. Curtis is young, he's a winger, and you need to expect inconsistency. But that lad is a future Scotland international who can score double figures for us this season.
Talk of loaning Curtis out is absolute madness. He's potentially the best wide player we currently have at this club.

RWC, yes Raskin and Curtis were good when they came on but so was Cammy Devlin, mate 🤔 All 3 have to start against Hibs on Sunday 🤔 We're a much better midfield with more energy going forward with wee Devlin in the team. 👍🇬🇧

RWC, for me, currently Findlay Curtis is our best left winger at the club, and as it now looks very much like we've lost Driouech to Celta Vigo, he has to be given that starting position in front of Gassama, while we try and sign a left winger to compete with Curtis for the left wing position. 🤔 🇬🇧

Rohl, totally agree. He needs to stay and play games. He's much better than anyone else we have in that role.

McCrorrie should be RB to Bristol City, mate, and that's it. I really can't believe we actually brought him back, and gave him a contract?!
07 Aug 2026 09:36:25
Sorry, that should read Curtis left, Yokota right.
07 Aug 2026 09:49:45
I was wrong about Curtis perhaps going out on loan but we definitely need better if he has 2 or 3 bad games then we will absolutely slaughter him so we need someone better for the moment
07 Aug 2026 09:57:39
Agree, Curtis delivered more but ultimately he's there to provide goals and assists, neither were delivered. The level has got so bad we're excited about someone delivering a big 4/10 because he replaced a 1-2/10.
I like Curtis and he is a prospect, but if we're relying on him anymore than 15-20 starts this season, we're snookered!

McRorie has looked so short of any sort of quality it's incredible.
