Looks fat/slow only good he does is shield the ball
He would have a good movement if he could run into the space

Nothing like a good bit of hysteria after one game. He's a goal scorer. If you have no one in the team creating changes, pretty much useless. Same goes for Naderi and Mivoski too. Problem is the lack of creativity, not the strikers who are all proven goal scorers.

Bluenoseger, what a way to talk about a Rangers player and captain. 😡👎 Naderi was the main problem for me. Shankland was isolated as he wasn't playing close enough to Shankland and lost the ball every time. We badly need creative right wingers and a left winger who are game changers, and we all know that.
🤔 Did any of us expect a scintillating performance last night with our first competitive game with all these new players, and apart from Aasgaard, no creative wingers that will make the difference. 🤔 Give it time and not the time for kneejerk reactions already. 🤔 🇬🇧

Sws, please explain how Naderi was the main problem? We had 45 mins to rectify the first half, and still created next to nothing. Naderi isn't there to create.

Easy to explain, Dado. 👍 Naderi was nowhere near close enough to link with Shankland, who then, in numerous occasions, was totally isolated because of it. 🤔 Naderi was running all over the place, and I lost count of how many times he lost control of the ball, and I know he wasn't the only one.
🤔 I'm speaking about how poor Naderi was because some just can't see that Shankland was totally isolated because of it. 🤔 Chermiti should have started beside Shanks for me. 🤔 Hope that answers your question, Dado. 🤔 🇬🇧

Spot on, Big D. Shankland, Naderi, Chermiti all mince, but blame Naderi, creating is the problem not any one player of 3 who were equally impotent.

Shanks was poor, Sws, he did nothing the whole game. His hold up play was poor, he's never running in behind. Blaming it on Naderi is mental. He should have been hooked at half time, or at a minimum pre 60mins, and Miovski on, who does like to run behind.

Fork, we've disagreed on the Mikey Moore situation before, pal, and that's fine because we all have, and we're entitled to our opinions. 👍 If at all possible, I would love us to be able to bring back Mikey Moore on another season long loan deal, because we need him imo for the here and now, first and foremost, mate. 🤔 He's streets ahead of anyone we currently have for our left side, and is so direct and takes us up the park with ease.
👌 I know it's helping developing another club's player, but I'd absolutely take that for another season, and it gives us a bit more time to get a player like him for next season. 🤔 We, for me, absolutely need Mikey Moore now. 🤔 🇬🇧

Coops, take you Shankland tinted specs off. McInnes had Naderi playing right wing, so it's the manager's fault for that. Shanks does look fat, and he has always been slow. Would you prefer fans to lie about him? I knew people would make excuses for him.
Correct, Fork. Only one player was played out of position, and that was Naderi, who I don't think will work at Rangers, but he isn't to blame for last night.

Nope, Moore is not the answer, as I've said he passes when he shouldn't and doesn't when he should, gets caught in possession and runs up blind alleys, his stats are not the best either, he did OK, but OK isn't gd enough.
Efficiency Advantage: Findlay Curtis averaged a goal roughly every 211 minutes, outperforming Mikey Moore's ratio of one goal every 309 minutes.
Creative Output: Mikey Moore offered more total volume in build-up play, securing 3 assists and racking up nearly 1, 000 more minutes on the pitch for Rangers.
Curtis gets the same minutes he'd have surpassed him. 1000 minutes less and just 1 goal behind. So Moore is a no for me, not counting a loan fee that could buy a player. imho.

Maybe he was told to play like that? He's not a winger, so naturally will play more inverted, but most likely has been told to do that. Any striker in our team is going to struggle when we have no great pace and supply from wings. Dundee United doubled up on wings well knowing fine well we wouldn't penetrate there.
So where so you go if you can't get joy down wings? You would try through middle - Is Dio and Devlin going to do that?
The full team is unbalanced, mate, and you can't say 1 individual was main problem.
