Villa don't want to sell but may be forced to due to financial rules.

They are looking to sign the Swiss 20 year old midfielder from Freiburg, can't remember his name, starts with a M, looked like he was going to Newcastle and Villa have jumped in on that deal.

I read somewhere that Tielemans has a release clause in his contract so Villa can't stop him going. Don't if that's true.
The Swiss boy is called Manzambi and watching him in the WC looks more of an attacker than a midfielder, so Villa may still need a deeper lying player to replace Tielemans, so they might still be interested in Nico.
I would like to see him go to a club at that level.

Manzambi, Storm. Tielemans for 30m is a steal when you think every half decent CM in the PL goes for 100m.

The reason Man United can get him for 36m is because he has a clause in his contract for that price that Man United are willing to meet, so triggers a deal. Just worried we have the same kind of clause in Raskin's contract that is lower than we all think. Fingers crossed it went up when he signed a new contract.

Villa would be a very good move for Nico. Great manager that will develop him further and hopefully make us more down the line if there's a % sell on clause. ?

I know he has a clause, but still a steal in today's climate of every half decent player going for 100m.
