Butland set to join Hull from Rangers with Pandur moving the other way
Latest from Sky Sports News' Sahil Jaidka:
Goalkeeper Ivor Pandur is set to join Rangers from Hull City in a move worth around £6m.
In a separate deal, Jack Butland is set to depart Ibrox for Hull in a £3m switch.
Pandur, 26, moved to Hull City in 2024 and played in all but one Championship game last season, plus kept clean sheets in both play-off semi-finals and the final as Premier League promotion was secured.
He is currently at the World Cup with Croatia but is expected to join the Ibrox club for the new season.
Butland moved to Glasgow in 2023 and has made over 150 appearances for Rangers, having previously been at several English clubs including Stoke City, Crystal Palace and Man Utd.

Sounds like it's going to happen and have to be honest, Pandur doesn't feel like an upgrade at all.
I hope I'm wrong but time will tell.

I think you're wrong. Pandur is a quality goalkeeper. In fairness to Butland, he was playing behind a poor defence last season. Time will tell.

Dada, I don't know much about Pandur, but he played very successfully in a far higher league than ours, week in and week out. Were we going to win the league with Butland? I seriously doubt it. He let in too many that I thought he should have done better with.

I know it's only YouTube. But some of Pandur's saves are unreal. My mate's a ST holder, Hull. Up there with McGregor for shot stopping, he says. Distribution not the best.

Any keeper will look bad playing with a poor defence imo.

I hope I'm wrong and will be more than happy to admit it. Good shot stopper, but so was Butland. Supposedly poor distribution, especially under a press, but again so was Butland.

Look guys, we have all had enough of failure. This is a chance for a clean break, new manager, new captain, new goalkeeper, new team. Some on here, in the know, thought that the old leadership team were toxic in the dressing room, maybe not so nice guys after all.

Guys, not even in the door and you're all complaining. Let him prove himself. Thus far it's very good business and DMc will have rubber stamped it.

Apparently great shot stopper but poor distribution and poor coming for crosses. ??
