With my snobbery comment that's not directed at anyone in particular genuinely I don't try and offend or maybe a do ? but I do appreciate it get us all talking and thinking and with the difference of opinions it keeps the chat alive. I do personally think at times we see a certain player playing for a lesser team even one that finished above us and he's not good enough. Now this is just my opinion and what I can see sometimes, with Devlin a thought in all his games he was everywhere even when the chips were down he didn't stop and managed to take control of a game they were struggling in and turn the tide. To me that exactly the type of players we need and on a free it would be brilliant business. And Pieter my good man you say that this must be the criteria I want Rangers to buy? Yes that's exactly what a want a player who didn't stop doesn't sulk and doesn't go missing when things are not working out. What would you rather we have mate a player who sounds good because of his stats? Because we can't seem to buy a player who actually doesn't go missing when things get hard.

Ayrshire my friend I know your only having a laugh, I have 4 kids and a wife who bully me at home so bring it on ?? I take nothing personal unless someone prefers beef monster munch over pickle onion

19 Jun 2026 18:27:29
Beef are definitely the best. ?

19 Jun 2026 18:28:51
Ryan, I didn't take it personally and didn't think you meant in any way other than a turn of phrase. You think he would be okay and would do a job. I don't think he is the level of player I want to see coming.

I actually like him as a player to an extent, as he wears his heart on his sleeve and gets and puts himself about.

However, I want our number 6 to be more of a ball playing guy as well as that disrupter though and don't think that Devlin has that.

Part of me thinks it is just lazy thinking as well; McInnes ex Hearts, Devlin out of contract and possibly even Raskin leaving. Not meant either as an insult to anyone, just a rash guess at the reason.

19 Jun 2026 18:36:22
I just think there is something about him, Angus, mate, a really do, but I can appreciate how you might find it lazy with the connections.

19 Jun 2026 18:56:59
Ryan, mate, you have deeply offended me. The only reasonable order of Monster Munch is:

1. Flaming Hot
2. Beef
3. Pickled Onion

Anything else is fantasy, as the above is fact. ?

19 Jun 2026 19:16:38
Ryan, no offense taken. But yes, I would have a player based on what the stats say. That's why clubs are using it.
I appreciate he is a terrier, but we need more than that.
We already have Barton n, who I think can do that.
I think he is a good journeyman, but not at the level I would hope for at Rangers.

Also, apologies, as rereading my response, they could have been better written without being argumentative.

Also, to clarify above, to put in football terms
1 pickled onion - Puyol
2 beef - Barron
3 Flaming hot - Devlin.

??

I'm not keen on snobs, but I do love pickled onion Monster Munch. When I've got the munchies, I can tan a six pack in one sitting, sometimes taking a layer of skin from the roof of my mouth because of my over eager munching. ?

19 Jun 2026 19:28:30
Forget the football, guys. It's pickled onion all day long. How is this even a debate?

19 Jun 2026 19:30:13
Ryan, I was generalising as well, I suppose, after accusing others of doing the same and being lazy in my thinking. Wasn't personal

Don't know Monster Munch flavours but if there were a Marmite one surely that is Devlin; actually hold that every player or manager we are interested in passes that test.

More a beef ridges crisp man myself. Like to nibble away, bit by bit; probably too much information there and opened myself up for a dig I hadn't thought of. ?

19 Jun 2026 19:49:50
I sense a poll coming on. Pickled onion aw day!

19 Jun 2026 20:03:31
Can I throw Spicy Bikers in the mix? Need about 4 packets tho.

19 Jun 2026 20:08:34
Sorry, Angus, I have to disagree on this too. If it's ridged, it has to be cheese n onion McCoys. Oo really fancy a crisp butty now. Great, and now I'm off to the corner shop.

19 Jun 2026 20:10:49
Frazzles. ?

19 Jun 2026 20:21:28
Space Raiders.

19 Jun 2026 20:24:42
Haha ??? what have a started, yous are not wired right. ??

Cheese and onion frisps btw. ?

19 Jun 2026 20:26:44
Bikers are the superior blast from the past crisp, and for ridged crisps, the superior is McCoys Thai sweet chilli.

19 Jun 2026 20:27:01
Fork, I do love a pack of frazzles.

19 Jun 2026 20:27:42
Pickled onion Monster Munch for me. ? Cheddar and Onion McCoy's Kaiser, I agree, are outstanding. ? ?

19 Jun 2026 20:35:40
Got to be the share bag, Murph. ? ?

19 Jun 2026 20:39:24
I mind Highlander crisps had a "Hedgehog" flavour.
Back when I was a lad, Tudor Gammon and also Fried Onion were the bizz.
McCoys has to be Grilled Steak. ?

19 Jun 2026 20:51:32
Agreed on the share bag, Fork. Nice 10 pack of beers and a share bag of frazzles and shove the footy on. Ideal day chill lol.

19 Jun 2026 20:55:45
I remember them, Fork. I can't vouch for their taste authenticity, as I was drunk when me and my mate went hedgehog hunting and made some crisps. I do remember calling mine "Prickled onion" flavour. ?

19 Jun 2026 21:01:32
Anyone remember Brannigans? Their beef n mustard, and ham and pickle were absolutely bangin.

19 Jun 2026 22:50:38
Memory unlocked, Fork! Highlander crisps. ? Bacon & brown sauce!

19 Jun 2026 22:51:17
Kaiser, I agree with McCoy's, but wife thinks they are too greasy so we never have those. Aldis (other supermarkets are available) steak ridges are excellent. On a 10% commission. Sorry, need to declare that. ?.

Game just about to start, so need to concentrate on that. C'mon Scotland.

20 Jun 2026 07:03:00
3 cheers. ???
