The question is, though, Thestigno1, if Rohl does indeed leave, the players that might have been lined up and well down the line for deals being done might not be done now if a new manager comes in. ?

Agree, Walter, losing a Manager a week before pre season is not ideal, and with no sporting director or football director who's actually been choosing these players, if not Rohl?
As I've said elsewhere, thou, if he's being offered better money and he's closer to his family or his family will go there with him, I can't bag that.
I'd do the same. I worked away for many years and missed numerous birthdays, sports days, Christmas days with my family, and I regret that now.
If he goes for the sake of his family, good luck to him.

Iron, I'm sure we're still utilising that Swedish lad in a contract DoF capacity - correct me if I'm wrong - he'd be the same man to have picked up Rommens, Naderi, Chukwuani & the unfortunately ill-fated Olson but 3 outta 4 ain't bad!
Think we're in safe hands in terms of transfers. That could be famous last words, though, hahaha.

Losing the Manager shouldn't necessarily derail transfer targets or deals that are in the process of completion. That's why we have a multi disciplinary recruitment team? A new manager will want to add a few specific players before the window closes.

Jury out on the 3 remaining for me, mate. Rommens, when fit, looks a real good player. The other 2, from what I've seen, are a bit. ??♂️
