Nico on the score sheet for Belgium. Hopefully add some £££ to his value.

Would like him to stay and get played as an 8. What positions is he playing for Belgium?
06 Jun 2026 17:36:16
I like him a lot, but I think he wants a change. So, no point trying to force him to stay if we can get the right fee for him. He clearly has dreams that Rangers no longer fit and feels he's maybe achieved all he can at Ibrox.
06 Jun 2026 19:35:09
Achieved all he can at Ibrox? Are we watching the same team?
06 Jun 2026 19:54:52
I didn't say he's achieved everything. I said maybe he feels he's achieved all he can there at the moment. Maybe he doesn't think we can compete and wants new challenges.
06 Jun 2026 20:17:53
Maybe he's achieved all he can at Ibrox because when it gets to crunch time, he goes missing, he's no Iain Ferguson or Stuart McCall, that's for sure.
06 Jun 2026 20:19:11
I would like him to move on, cause other than a couple of months under Clement & Barry, he's pretty much a man down & only tries for 20 minutes of a game when we're down.
06 Jun 2026 20:37:05
Pretty much a man down? Don't talk rubbish.
I think he will leave, but I hope he stays. We need a 6, and you would see Raskin flourish, but we haven't had one for the time he has been here, which is not his fault.

That's not been my experience of Raskin.
Granted, he's been poor at times, but he's a workhorse and a very good player. Who, for me, improves the team more often than not when he's in it.
06 Jun 2026 21:38:44
Unfortunately, maybe Raskin had one eye on the World Cup, plus had a feeling he was possibly getting a move away in the summer so done what most players do and looked after himself rather than the team. ??♂️

Raskin's the new whipping boy it seems. ?
06 Jun 2026 23:19:23
He's not the new whipping boy, Wishy, but lbh, he hasn't exactly been a stand out for us at any time, whether that's down to him himself or what he's got playing around him, we'll possibly never know. Always liked him though.
07 Jun 2026 06:36:27
Granted, Raskin has had a topsy turvy season at Rangers, but he's still a quality midfielder for me and would absolutely flourish with better players and different types of midfielders around him. ? A really good no.6 like an Elliot Watt or whoever would allow Raskin to play further forward and we'd absolutely, for me, see the best of him.
? Hand on heart, I have a feeling he'll leave Rangers after the World Cup, and the fee we'll receive will be governed by the type of World Cup he has with Belgium. ? It does seem, with some, over the last few weeks, that Raskin has become the whipping boy now that Tav has gone. ?

I would keep Raskin if he is happy, shows what he can do with good players around him, but if not, let's hope he has a good WC to boost interest & value, should build team around him, Fernandez, Shanklin, Chermiti
Shanklin seems to be on a mission with his showing with Scotland, could be crucial next season.
Imagine if he & Chermiti gel up front & young Curtis can supply them, looking forward to season with more hope than I have had for a long time, let's hope it is not false hope.
Enjoy WC lads as fill in until Rangers strut their stuff next season. ?

It's hard to understand why we would want a large transfer fee for our Belgian international yet don't think he's good enough to be playing regularly in our team.

Bb4 100%, he is the new whipping boy and nowhere near as bad as some say on here.
