I sit this morning and he a read at the Hearts forum, wanted to see the comments around Shankland. It was well worth a read, from the '£10m and not a penny less' to 'nonsense, Rangers don't have the money'. Then we have the realisation of it's a free, then the anger, then the hate and finally the spin that they're better without him.
What a great piece of business this is, I can't wait to see him standing with the scarf.

? The stages of grief.

Brilliant Dado, love that - what a signing this would be - he will bang in a load of goals and bring some leadership. ??

He's what we need right now, I think he'll do great.

Fairytale stuff for Shankland, he must be buzzing. Can't wait to see him wearing the jersey, giving his all for the club he loves.

Amazing what a year or 2 does. I got blasted for continually stating Shankland should sign 2 years ago. We would have won the league the last 2 years if he had signed but as usual we were tight fisted and dilly dallied. Look at us now.

Not sure we would have won the league with Shankland, not sure how we could prove that. He'll do well for us, and hopefully gives the leadership we've been missing.

Dado, we would have won it in Clements' first season though if we had signed him instead of Fabio Silva and Cortes.

Deecee, same here I was crying out for Shanks for last 3 seasons at least, but the snobbery brigade were always "not good enough for us" blah blah. I think he will very quickly become a fans favourite & turn the negative opinions to positives, if not through goals, then by effort, heart & leadership, although I genuinely think Shankland will score plenty goals next season.

He's one of the missing pieces of the jigsaw. A wonderful signing.
